Just bought some homeless dude a cup of tea and a sandwich cos he looked like so cold and ill. Got chatting to him, apparently he lost all his living-on-the-streets equipment, cos some bastard nicked it from him.. also said that he hadn't eaten in a few days. I know sometimes people say that homeless folk actually earn quite a bit from begging, but this man looked so down and out.. I felt so shit for him. Being homeless around this time of year must be so miserable.

Merry Christmas to all. My wife remembered a conversation from way back in June and her Christmas present was a hip flask so I'll be bringing that along to the next Twoism meet :)

I've been working on the same paragraph of my paper for 12 hours. This is the kind of thing I am having to contend with:

One thing one can mean by transcendence is that the object of cognition is not genuinely (reell) contained in the cognitive act so that one would be meaning by “being truly given” or “immanently given” that the object of the cognitive act is genuinely contained in the act: the cognitive act, the cogitatio, has genuine abstract parts genuinely constituting it: but the physical thing it which it intends is or supposedly perceives or remembers, etc. is not to be found in the cogitatio itself, as a mental process; the physical thing is not to be found as a genuine (reell) concrete part, not as something which really exists within the cogitatio. So the question is: how can the mental process so to speak transcend itself? Immanent here means then genuinely (reell) immanent in the cognitive mental process.

Incredibly interesting, but how am I to paraphrase this? This has been my folly for the past 12 hours. I just gave up in the end and used the whole quote. Seemed to work, if you can't say it better, don't bother right? :?

TS Eliot is the bane of my life right now. try making sense enough to write an essay on a poem written by someone that prides himself on not making any fucking sense.

OFF TOPIC:

You know when people say: "You're ok in my book!"
Well, I actually have a book.
And right now I have to write someone in as "little bitch".
It makes me incredibly sad.

I'll write a crappy poem about it:

Why can't we be friends?
You're breaking my heart.
Why can't we be friends?

I know its tough up there,
all alone, nobody gets it.
No other choice but to expel the people that love you.
But that might not be fair,
It makes you look shit,
and my soul a rather gloomy blue.

And I really loved you,
you're a great guy,
I look up to you,
you've inspired!

And I really loved you,
although I'm not sure why now.
I don't know if you're cool.
Not anymore.

Sure I don't like vaporwave,
or those things you do and name after it,
but what does that matter,
when we both love boc.
Why can't we be friends?

We've had so much fun, like brothers.
Laughed and cried so hard at things so wrong.
You where there with 2ndmouse,
and even the TH release.
Then vaporwave happened.
You're damn right it hurts.

I talk about my music allot.
And I sometimes feel guilty,
when I catch myself sharing my sound.
But sometimes I can't help it.
Music is the only real thing I have in my life.
A simple "stop doing that, moron",
would have been sufficient.

I talk about my music allot.
Because music is the only real thing I have in my life.
If that bothers you then don't wonder why,
I've lost the respect.
I'll never be your brother again, goodbye.

I'm really uninterested in this thing at this point.

Like, when you get into some form of argument with that guy and then he comes to me. Again. Like he did the first time. Months later, bizarrely. I'm done with all this, I don't have the time.

I'm not blaming anybody, but it's just like...if someone's going to be a troll, don't feed them. Simple.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.
