How about a podcast on your personal top 10 favourite BoC tracks and why you chose them. That's sure to stir up some debate.

What is so good is that I hear so much stuff in their music too... I have heard all kinds of samples and words, numbers and voices in all kinds of wavelengths, frequencies and tones.

Some of what I have heard is identical to what you have heard and theorized on. Some of it is not. That does not matter in the slightest though, what matters is that we all hear all kinds of things in their music in one way or another and that is the total point.

Music is in the eye of the beholder. It's boc's music, but it is also mine you know? It can be such a personal and magical thing. Cold earth is one of my fave examples as from the first time I heard the track and at this point now I still hear constantly through the song 'tomorrow's harvest' being sang by a female choir that sounds like a synth pad or something. To me it is totally there and quite obvious but to others it isn't. But it makes the song for me and no one can take that away from me.

Keep it up man, because music is there for us to explore in whatever way we want and if you hear it, well that's cool with me. We all have crazy theories about boards albums, and 99% are probably correct in some way. You should hear my thoughts on albums and yeah I'm crazy too haha.

havent got around, or if i ever will soon, to listen to these again or listen to the actual flacs through firewire dac, headphones, audacity etc. im sure we could all hear a lot of this stuff he's talking with a decent setup but then again a lot of it is ones own interpretation don't forget just like he said. some of it it may be spot on, some of it may not be.

sometimes one finds the time and access to do things like this, i don't right now. a lot of de-cluttering to do, find work is a start, new home, balance, calm, order, routine. such a long list. monitors, amps, synths, guitars all boxed up and lying there silent. dont have comfortable space right now to say 'i'm home' and relax.

Wow, I had never thought to listen to those vocals backwards in Kid for Today! When I reversed that part of the tune, I also heard the "can't return to collect that link" stuff, too. And the ensuing analysis about links, yards, chains etc was also very interesting...

Mikey, I'm wondering what you think about the vocal section between 5:00 - 5:10 in Kid for Today. The beat cuts, there's some accelerated beeping, and then eventually the beat comes back with a super woeful, howling synth -- when reversed, I hear the same voice as earlier say:

I have been counting (cutting? cunting? ) their heads off, and let's play the game that goes "pew" -- (then the beep section...) pewpewpewpewpewpewpewpew

Also loved that you pinpointed the girl's voice saying "look up here" in the IABPOITC title track. Always noticed it but never really thought about it.

Worked some this week on Geogaddi... I don't think i have to tell you guys that it's a very difficult album. At any rate, I do feel sorta called to do this, and I'll definitely get a full analysis of all their studio albums out to you guys!! Thanks a lot to everyone who's listened. It's a real privilege to have your attention and consideration.
