Re: Now Playing:
There's a new Legowelt album. His music always makes me feel happy in a weird way, like a pixel version of me inside a 90's Amiga game is happy.
It's available to stream on Bandcamp.

Old Spiritualized video from 91 leaked a few days ago by Willie B. Caruthers the bassist at the time.

The Haxan Cloak - Excavation
This is so fucking dark. It's geniunely frightening. It's like a musical version of House Of Leaves. It makes Tomorrow's Harvest sound like Abba.

Really love this album, especially all the outtakes.

That Lo-Fidelity Allstars album is great. I was *obsessed* with it when it came out.

I love Eels. Seen them live a few times, and I've met Mark Oliver Everett. He is a huge hero of mine, both musically, and personally.
Although I thought their latest album wasn't all that great.

Re: Now Playing:
I think this is one of the greatest songs of all time. I haven't listened to it in a year or so, but today I gave it a spin. It's just perfect. I can take or leave Massive Attack and Martina Topley-Bird, but Warpaint and Lanegan on the same track! That's the stuff dreams are made of.
It's also far better than the orginal.

Mark Lanegan improves everything. If Mark Lanegan sang the phone book, I'd pay to listen.

Damn right.
Although I doubt Lanegan owns a phonebook, or even a phone. He doesn't make arrangements. He just turns up whenever he damn well feels like it.

I remember clearing the dance floor a few times to that particular tune, I was a huge fan of 'big beat' at the time, never bought that album though for some reason.A_Northern_Soul wrote:That Lo-Fidelity Allstars album is great. I was *obsessed* with it when it came out.
