The Investigation, the first full-length Polypores album, is out tomorrow. In the meantime, I uploaded this theme tune I wrote for an exciting television programme, that sadly never aired*

Really sets the mood when it builds up throughout. Can't wait for the full album!

Thanks! This track isn't actually on the album, it's just something I was messing around with. I do that to sort of slow myself down. Otherwise I'd release an album a month or something. I just write so much stuff. I'm definitely bordering on obsessive when it comes to creating music. Polypores is a relatively new venture for me, only really started it around November last year. And I already have a 12 track album, a 6 track EP with 3 bonus tracks, and 5 tracks misc. tracks on Soundcloud. I have about 6-7 more which I'm working on currently, just written in the last month.

I write too much. I'm like Prince, but tall and white and poor and with more self-awareness.

I used the dubstep samplepacks for some of the drums and a phasen sample. I feel so dirty.

Finally got to use that piano and organ in a song thanks to the redecoration I did few days ago! Its all acoustic for a change except for a 909 kick. This is so much fun, imma do it all the time now.

Today I did an audit of all the tracks I've been working on in the last month since finishing my album. 20 tracks, in varying stages of completion.

I need to get a girlfriend, don't I?

Made the best of this week's insomnia by creating a bunch of tracks that somehow represent it's discomfort and monotony:

I reckon I'll have done about 5 billion tracks by Christmas.

Thanks for listening. 3 and 4 are actually my favourites too. It always fascinates me, what you can come up with in some kind of altered state, where you aren't thinking in the normal, logical, analytical way. It encourages different ways of working, which is always good, adds a random element in there, almost like playing with someone else. I guess a lot of people get this from smoking weed or using LSD/mushrooms, but that stuff isn't for me so I have to find other ways.

In this case, severe anxiety and lack of sleep!

Happy days.

Hi guys!

Just a new little track, if you care to listen. I'm beginning work on an album for Carpe Sonum Records, and this is a lil teaser!

Thanks for checking, and feedback/criticism welcome as always. Back to my usual style, I put out a self-released EP inspired heavily by AE last week, if anyone wants a link? Free download and reception has been good, I've heard some Arovane comparisons along with AE (the ae influence is very prominent to my earz!)

Cheers!

That's nice. I tend to like my music a bit darker and dirtier, but that's my personal preference rather than any lack of talent on your part.
