This is rapidly turning into the angry rant but weirdly life-affirming thread.

I'm in Amsterdam at the moment and realising that to live here would be impractical but that I have to find something akin to the things I love about this place closer to home. Interesting that you're talking about the merits of Brighton - it's one of the few places in the UK where I fell culturally comfortable. West London has nothing for me anymore. It's a dead place, worshipping nothing but money. It's slowly killing us.
