you know the way the lads did not want to be compaired to orbital being brothers and that. well i have been listening to a lot of orbital lately and there is a good few tracks in orbital's back cat mainly on singles and that, that really could pass as boc tracks in my eyes and ears.

orbital are great in there own way aswell.
orbital....lol. they are/were rubbish one trick ponies
just got into orbital within the past month and a half... only album I've heard is In Sides, and I liked it a lot. parts sound a bit dated, but still top shelf.
I kinda lost intererst after the Brown album but live they were the absolute shit. Two Alesis MMT8's and off they went. Chime is a classic, Impact (Earth's Burning) at Glastonbury '94 was awesome, Halcyon (original) rules. They were very, very good.
Care to name the tracks that you thought were similar Dubbo?

couldn't agree with you more, i'm a fan eversince their first album in 1993, they have lot's of 12 inches that are amazing and i've seen them live a few times, very good and they have some tracks that remind me of BoC. the "blue album" [2004] is the latest i bought from them and very good.
I remember listening to Halycon repeatedly in highschool, but that was the only song I ever picked up by them. I had a feeling that they didn't have too many tricks up their sleeve to keep me interested. Perhaps I was too quick to judge...i'm going to have to check some of the other stuff out now.
Come on man, whether you like them or not. You can't deny the influence Orbital had on early house and nowadays electronics...?

yeah for christ sake. orbital rocked back then and now, they have ALOT OF TRACK'S that stand the test of time.
I do know they have a few that sucked rat balls(the saint) but thats life.
