They have 91 results together, but 93 results individually? Am I doing something wrong here?

They're credited as writers for Solange's songs individually.

x2 for anything not re:afx (love him for that though), and for anything BOC I look to you guys here + MDG. I didn't hear Joyrex say anything specific upcoming either, just a vague something soonish. Could be a hint from his Warp contact, but who knows.

I know that warp are listed as the publisher but I remain sceptical that the band themselves had anything to do with this because I would expect to see HISCORES listed as HISCROES and UP THE MARCH BANK listed as UP THE MARCHBANK. if anything it was probably just registered so they (the record label, who own the rights as mentioned upthread) could make a claim against someone who was selling the music online, one of those dodgy sites that makes money selling mp3s it picks up off file sharing sites.

That's definitely a possibility, but you do have to wonder why now? After all these years, why would Warp decide to register these tracks now in an effort to curb the piracy of them, if they weren't planning on monetizing them in some way?

I think after what mdg has been alluding to, as well as Joyrex's post (taking anything he says with a grain of salt), and the fact these have been registered post TH, I think it's safe to assume these will be officially released soon-ish, if not within the year.

Pete Standing Alone is a really old entry, so it could be there for a number of reasons. Color of the Fire is their only major release track that is also on the old tunes tapes, and it was put on the site shortly after I Love U, so maybe there's some legal reason behind it?

i don't understand this, ASCAP, not all artists are on there. Its American, BOC are British, i've searched for other fairl big British artists, not a thing or maybe its just what Warp use no?

nevermind, would be good, looks good, perhaps they will be all remastered, reworked - maybe some of it. What would it take? 3 CDs? 6-7 vinyls? will be a big one if that. Almost like Warps anniversary packages. A big fat turquoise box with jellies inside. My money is already spent.

My main hope is that this is released digitally as well. Living in southeast asia makes it extremely hard to find physical copies of music, especially "underground" artists like BoC.

A hope of mine is that if they do decide to remaster or rework tracks, they do something with the drums on 5.9.78. That track is incredible but the only thing that sometimes stops me from getting through it all is because the drums literally go nowhere.

I guess this could be simillar to how they deal with Hi-Scores repressings, possible colour artwork, bonus poster, heavy vinyl, give more life to their old music

Not especially. Becomes just another release then. The magic is the imperfection for me. Hipster enough for you? ;-)

Edit: My reply was to Orion rather than Arvy btw
