Not related to BOC, but I found some pretty intriguing ones.

http://www.sign69.com/medialounge/space8611.html
Some weird consumerism 3D model walking with multiple logos of companies

http://www.sign69.com/medialounge/space15402.html
Same thing as above, but with strange logos behind a dancing alien

http://www.sign69.com/medialounge/space8195.html
Dancing ASCII women with a color changing background

http://www.sign69.com/medialounge/space842.html
Some interesting music with floating roses, 1 sword, and a skull.

I'm almost concerned with how much content is on this website.

So after viewing s u r f a c e in multiple browsers, installing shockwave player, and attempting to open the .dcr files that were mysteriously downloaded straight to my drive, I think it comes down to the fact that these files are not only old, outdated, and no longer supported, but that they're also corrupted. Viewing the files directly through photoshop comes up with an error, and all other software tells me that the files are corrupted. When using Internet Explorer (with shockwave player installed) to actually view the exhibit in browser, I get errors saying that the "director movies" won't load. Also when viewing the console of the exhibit through inspect element, there are several .swf flash files that are just not loading, because they are trying to be accessed from parts of the http://0100101110101101.org/ website that are no longer available and bring up an error when accessed.

So while I believe there are still quite a few things that I haven't even seen this website throw at me yet (AQfumes is right, it's rarely the same place twice) the chances of finding it are a lot slimmer than they were before.

I'm curious though, what if someone tried accessing s u r f a c e on a 1999 era PC? Old hardware, possible better .dcr support that new machines don't even want to try and attempt opening? I guess it's possible that the files aren't corrupted, my PC and laptop just want nothing to do with such an old format.

But other than that and searching more, I'm out of ideas for now.

I started at 6010, for obvious reasons, and was dismayed when the background became planes hitting buildings at 6017. Yeah. I'm done.

sign69 thing is prtty cool, they are all collages to an extent - there are some animations which are layered over each other, there are 900 pieces of music ("munktoon") and 583 pieces of looping speech ("blah") which are played on top of different animations on those pages.

probably not boc related but still neat, i remember there used to be a fair few websites like this when i was a lot younger.

i guess whatever AQ found is on the surface pages or lost elsewhere tho :) i think the only way to solve *that* one is your friend who sampled it!

It's Nirvana's cover of 'Seasons in the Sun'

[edit] oh wait, the song changes each time.

Hey guys!
It's been a minute, I know. I was finally able to get my buddy to track down the cassette he had with his sixtyten loop. I transferred the track onto my computer and uploaded it to a soundcloud page. How would I embed it to play on the forum?? I was listening to the track earlier and trying to compare it with the original and it seems like it continues on a little without the percussion kicking in on the original, but i can't really tell and they may (hell.com) have just chopped the loop. Let me know, what you guys think? For me, it's been interesting to hear this thing after nearly 15 years. :D

For the first time in ages, I do not have a reaction image or witty remark that could properly relay how utterly confused I am right now. I don't even.

Did you check out the hell.com related content earlier in the thread? Seems kind of par for the course...that was a fun afternoon!

My friend added the drums and laughter to the track; he got the sixtyten sample from the hell dotcom site back in 99'/00' era. I always thought the sample played a little longer without the drums on the original track interrupting it. I listen it it now though and I'm not sure. The helldotcom ppl may have just chopped the loop.

You can hear the sample he got from the site a bit more clearly at the end of the track I posted. It doesn't have any of the drums or voices he added to it on that part.
