Thanks :) Ive checked them out... both look good but id probably put them down after 5 minutes. Think I should face facts, Im too old for this shit, I may finally slip into video game retirement.. At least until I get one of the up and coming Virtual Reality headsets and enough money to buy a PC decent to handle it.

I don't really care for VR that much at the moment. I'll get one of those in 10 years I think, when there's one you can better fine-tune/tinker with without the need of a soldering iron. I'd also need a cooled, isolated sensory deprivation chamber/pocket serverpark, years worth of acid/food/vitamins/water strung to my veins through tubes in my navel and place it in the desert, under the ground covered in sunpannels and get rid of everything else and live-code my own world. Untill then, urban terror, indie games , ms-dos abandonware and my own games suit my gaming needs. :D

also, this is looking like it will be one of the last games I ever need.

I'm on a Space Station 13 kick right now, i love that game, even with it being so complex. Same with Faster Than Light, love it too.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of team fortress 2. Ever. Played it since orange box and despite all the stupid items they've added over the years, it still blows most other multiplayer fps out of the water. Look no further for solid mechanics, unique classes and good humor.

About to finnish modding Fallout: New Vegas, almost 80 mods in, I hope it's worth it, and after that, Dark Souls, I can't be more excited :D

Man what a game. Light on plot but very fun and detailed.

Modding it is a sticky, never know if it is bugged until you play.

I played the first 2 oddworlds. I remember throwing pulling out my keyboard in anger playing 2 when I couldn't make certain runs. And when I found out I didn't save enough peeps in the end, even going after so much trouble I died a little inside.

It'll do that to you! It holds a special place in my heart, as my dad (who is usually totally uninterested by the very notion of video games) gained a large obsession with it when I was around 8 or 9. Many great memories of playing it until the early hours of the morning when I quite clearly should have been sleeping! If I hadn't had that long initiation with it then I may have had similar experiences to you. Having said that, I replayed Abe's Exoddus yesterday and nearly broke my television in the frustration you describe... It had been too long..

The Witcher 3 is pretty cool so far. Keyboard + Mouse controls are a little wonky, but it's a great game.

Well it wasn't really a hoax, the guy just wanted to make people happy and hyped for some time, give them some hope, but the outcome at the end wasn't so pleasing

I really really really really hope they've used a new engine this time, not a 'new' engine.

Remember how they retooled Gamebryo, an engine from 2004's Morrowind, and called it Creation Engine? Yeah. Don't do that again bethesda. Make the new one efficient, modern, and able to take a reasonable amount of mods without massively slowing down on me. Then you've got my vote.

Still I'm sure FO4 will be great in and of itself :]
