Early Electronica?

Does anyone know of any early instances of electronic albums/musicians? I really enjoy the idea of artists experimenting with the newfound technology that were analogue synthesizers. I'll post one of my favorites as a sort of example, and just because I really love it.

If you want very early electronic experimentation, look into Tristram Cary. He was one of the very first to make music exclusively with electrically generated signals and built his effects and oscillators himself because nobody else had ever built anything that did what he wanted.

Silver Apples were also notable.
