Alphaquest - Letter S
Hi. Not a usual poster here. I noticed that the bocpages don't list this. The Sesame Street segment for "Alphaquest" has the ending sample of Aquarius in it.
Alphaquest: Letter S - Sample is at 1:07
"We'll sail to the stars."
I updated the page for Aquarius on the Wiki. I didn't see the harm in making a new topic for this, so here you go.
Happy cycling.

Nice find!
Re: Alphaquest - Letter S
"sensational!"
btw, it seems that brothers had the whole Episode 2852 videotaped – it also contains "Orange" and "I love you" sample sources, so maybe someone can find the full version of it so we can check it out for other samples?

aw neat, really obscure find at first but what dmitrii points out is pretty interesting, like all their sesame st samples are mostly from the one episode?

My man, this is a great find! Thank you!
Re: Alphaquest - Letter S
Upon cursory inspection, this episode was also the source of Sixtyten's "Different Mes" speech, Sunshine Recorder's "Bye"s, and Aquarius' "Yeah, that's right!"Dmitrii wrote:btw, it seems that brothers had the whole Episode 2852 videotaped – it also contains "Orange" and "I love you" sample sources, so maybe someone can find the full version of it so we can check it out for other samples?
Not to mention the Roygbiv Alphaquest mix
If The Campfire Headphase was a butterfly, would Acid Memories be the caterpillar?
- Spoiler: show
Re: Alphaquest - Letter S
Sounds like she's saying "We're Sailing To The Star's".
Re: Alphaquest - Letter S
thanks, I haven't noticed it.Jango9 wrote:Upon cursory inspection, this episode was also the source of Sixtyten's "Different Mes" speech, Sunshine Recorder's "Bye"s, and Aquarius' "Yeah, that's right!"
so maybe we'll try to find the rest of the clips from this episode?
Re: Alphaquest - Letter S
I was trying to edit the post by adding links to some videos, but due to the time limit all my efforts got wasted. Feel free to double-check, but it seems that up until "animal auction" clip there's nothing sampled by BOC in the episode (from what's available on youtube)
Re: Alphaquest - Letter S
Finding out these samples all came from the same episode of Sesame Street is kind of an eye opener if I'm honest.

Well spotted / Nice find. No idea How y'all find this stuff.
Re: Alphaquest - Letter S
Honestly, I have no idea how after all these years we're JUST NOW finding this stuff.
And yes...all these samples from the same tape? Completely unexpected, but completely understandable. I recorded my favorite episodes of cartoons as a kid and watched them again and again until the tape degraded entirely. I completely get the feeling.
Also provides 100% clarity regarding track titles based on samples that had yet to be used as well as the inverse. If I had to guess, there's probably an enormous wealth of samples BoC used on this one single episode.

Okay...now...wait for fog machine.
