I don't really know how this works, but I'll join, despite being terrible at chess. I have a bad habit of getting bored and losing on purpose to amuse myself, but I'll try to remain focused throughout the whole thing.

Take your next move with this:

Draw the game with the next move in it. Then click "Generate Diagram" at the bottom and hotlink the image.

We could just make a HnefaTafl thread and play 2 games at once, but I doubt there's a generator for it. We could just use mspaint like this:
Image
Just draw it in 11x11px and resize it to 500x500, upload to dropbox and you'll have taken a turn. That might be a bit silly.
On the bright side we could just update the images in the dropbox and we wouldn't have to make a new post every turn, the number in the top left corner being the current turn. But it would be nice to see what comes after "Telepath". And I have never played this game ever but I'd be really up for it.

I think we should move this to PMs to avoid cluttering the thread.

Aaaw.

Maybe you're right. I was kinda hoping other people would join in on the same game.

Hell yeah lads, that's what we like to hear.
https://www.chess.com/play/online/friend

Chess.com, like others have said above, seems to do correspondence (turn-based). My turn, I wait for you, then your turn whenever you're ready. There's a three day timer and if no ones moves by then, automatic forfeit. The one and only problem is that the link only lasts for 15 minutes, so I'll go ahead and send you both a PM so we can get it all figured it out. Maybe there's a way to challenge another user after making an account? I'm sure there's gotta be a feature like that

If you guys do want to play real-time, very down with that as well, we'll probably just have to catch each other online at the same time is all. A tournament would be fun too if we could somehow figure it out.

If anyone else wants to play sometime, shoot me a PM and we can work it out. Username is yo-mama-likes-me

Oke-dokey, I've challenged ya under the username 'PastelPentagram'. Once you accept, the war will begin. :P

(So now, I'll go learn chess... I know, I know.)

Weird tip but play against computers first. They'll kick your ass raw, but it'll teach you how to move the pieces, where to move them on the board, all that jazz. It's only but a strategy game at the end of the day. I, uh, learned how to play Chess on the old Windows Vista Microsoft games (thanks Deep Blue)...................................... so no worries.............
Also white always go first!

If you guys have, you may need to click muh link again. I will say I messed up and sent the link to you guys before I verified my email, so I may have lost your requests if you did happen to click it. My bad on that one. Insanitarium, I think I've gotten our game (somewhat) figured out, but I'm still missing you, Rodox, my lad. I've gotten somewhat of a better grasp on this site now though, so hopefully if we try again, they won't get lost to the data curtain.
