I'd say Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill or The Man Who Died In His Boat. That's what worked for me. I'd advise a fairly quiet listening environment, as it tends to be quiet and fairly sparse. It also helps if you feel either incredibly tired or depressed.

(not my photo)

Saw her in Belgium. Very beautiful. Very Boards of Canada-like imagery was displayed behind her. Gig lasted for about an hour. She played a succession of songs that mostly consisted of her playing guitar and solo vocals beautifully alternated with a choir of layers of her voice played from tape. She concluded with a 15 minute or so ambient/drone piece improvised live using pre-recorded tapes and a loop device that transformed her voice and guitar into a haunting reverb-drenched soundscape. At the very end she incorporated sampled sounds that strongly resembled number stations, or perhaps transmissions from an astronaut in space.

thanks for that, it's so great to see her sitting crosslegged on the stage with all of those pedals and tape players around her.

I don't think I've heard any of the material she played, but it truly is a tribute to how good of an artist she is, I was transfixed the whole time anyway.
Beautiful stuff, thanks again.

Excellent! I love everything she has done, of her side projects I thought Mirroring was especially good, and the split she did with Roy Montgomery, if you can call that a side project, as it was under the Grouper moniker.

Don't mess with Liz

And it's lovely, of course.
But does 22 minutes and seven tracks constitute an LP? Hmmm.
