What was found?

This can be achieved in a manner of seconds by splitting the track to two mono tracks and inverting one. I did it the other day, coincidentally. How does this give us any idea of where the sample comes from?

It does eliminate a few possibilities as to where the sample came from― there's a distinct vinyl crackle here, so it's probably not from something like Sesame Street where the dialogue would have been recorded to tape. And while it's still not a new find, it's sort of interesting to hear it by itself.

This sounds so creepy. I thought at first that the sample comes from instructional tape, but now it's...ugh. What's even the point of recording that on vinyl?

Where did you find this?

I was listening to the song when my headphones got unplugged, but not completely― so I could hear just the center channel by itself. So I went into FL studio and extracted the center channel. I also pitched it up and used a ring modulator so that the vocals/hints of background music could be heard more clearly.
