What started as a joke in another thread has now morphed into something else entirely. I like the idea of some of the more musically inclined folks around here (and possibly some of the less musically inclined ones) putting together our own little fucked up Christmas album, so why not go ahead and actually do it?

You can contribute up to 3 tracks (I'll most likely be contributing at least one myself), which can sound like whatever you please as long as they roughly line up with the "fucked up Christmas tunes" theme. Since it will be released for free, pretty much any sampling is fair game as long as it's not directly stepping on anyone's toes.

The album will be compiled on December 24th, so get whatever you've got in before then if you want to see it on here. I haven't decided on an exact time yet, but I'll give 24 hours worth of advance warning before compile time.

It's alright to talk about whatever you're making in the thread, but rather than posting any audio here PM a link to me. That way, when the album finally comes out nobody knows what to expect except for those who have their own tracks in the mix.

I just remembered that I have a recording of an old reel to reel tape I found of a family singing some Christmas songs (really off key). It sounds surprisingly creepy for a rendition of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer― definitely gonna have to sample it.
