Has anyone got those old BOC web loops for download?
If anyone has any good quality versions for download could they send it over? I'd really love to listen to these on repeat. Especially Trails, fuck me that's such a good song/loop.

I need these old website loops as I do not have them all, preferably in a high quality. Also the loops from the 2006 website would be great as well!
Re: Has anyone got those old BOC web loops for download?
I only popped on here for a sec, but I can have them all organized for you on Wednesday if someone doesn't have them here sooner. I'm extremely busy tomorrow and probably won't be at my computer at all.Goiter Sanchez wrote:I need these old website loops as I do not have them all, preferably in a high quality. I've got some extras for you too. I'll post the extras on Wednesday anyways as I doubt many people have them. They're just some custom rips and remixes of various stuff like a 40 minute or so recording of the atomless website going from song to song and a remix I did which mixed Trails and SevenFortySeven together, and I think I included a sample from Gann too. I really like the results of that one.
Re: Has anyone got those old BOC web loops for download?
Ok, so plans cancelled which gave me some time. I have the rar file ready with the website loops and a bunch of stuff including some sample sources I've had for a long time. I also included Robotanalysis' Trails remix as it was already in the same folder and it's awesome and you should listen to it if you haven't already.
Ugh, where can I make it available to you folks??

I hope dropbox is ok. It was really easy to make an account for me to upload it too. Just used my existing gmail account, basically.
I have a very large and well organized BoC picture collection too if someone wants all the pics in one spot, already organized. If people need/want that just say the word and I'll upload it too. I'm just not sure if people want that as you guys probably already have something like that.

What is this 'One Man and His Dog' thing?
And where are these 'Ready Let's Go' textural samples from?!

'sir prancelot brainfire' isn't the right source material. I never knew about the Julie and candy samples though, that's great. I've got a few more misc files like these, I'll have a look when I get home later today.
Re: Has anyone got those old BOC web loops for download?
Thanks for this!
I am interested in the picture collection too.

you're missing a bunch of loops
these go back as far as their first website i believe. I've been recording them since.

Ahh the one starting at 2:27, its bloody lovely and for some reason reminds me of the video game called ICO
Re: Has anyone got those old BOC web loops for download?
I only have a minute here, but:
re-phaelam-ed - I forgot about those loops. I have em, but they're in a different folder for some reason. Now my OCD is raging as I don't have everything perfectly organized more than I thought, lol. I can re-upload the rar file with those loops tomorrow so it's all in one spot. After reorganizing my BoC extra stuff folders properly that is.
Omikron - It is and it isn't. It definitely has to do with the original source, but it isn't where that tune FIRST came from I don't think. It's not sampled by BoC either way. I'm pretty sure they played the instruments themselves in recreating it. So it's not source material, but it is a part of what resulted in BoC's Old Tune though. Also, definitely share them files with us, dude! I'd love to gander at what you have collected.
Goiter - Glad to have helped, buddy.
I think 'One man and his dog' was briefly sampled in an Old Tune somewhere. I can't recall which one atm. But I'll look for the answer and get back to you tomorrow. I'm also having trouble recalling where I originally got the 'Ready Let's Go' samples, but I'm pretty sure that they are light recordings of the Sun (or something in space) that was switched to audio or something like that. I may be remembering that incorrectly, so please take that with a grain of salt. I got most of this a long time ago around when the Old Tunes were first leaked.
Fredd-E - You're welcome, bud. I'll get them pictures uploaded tomorrow too. I just have to make sure the Tomorrows Harvest pics are updated and I'll try to include the new poster pic in as hq as possible too. Most of the pictures are already up on bocpages, but I might have some that aren't. Probably just in higher quality album covers or something.
Now that I think of it, I have the original song for Apparatus too, both played at it's original BPM and sped up to match the BoC version. I think a few more too. I'll get em organized and upload em tomorrow.
Oh! I have a massive, yet incomplete collection of fan remixes that date back a pretty good amount of time. 8-bit remixes, acoustic remixes (like the old helios remixes which are incredible and I've had for over a decade), even a bunch of people simply singing over top of a BoC song. I also have the Orcestral remix of Pete Standing Alone if anyone is missing that. It was listed on the news section on the old BoC website and it's pretty cool. I do a thorough search of all the BoC stuff I have and do my best to organize it better and get it to you guys. We should all do this! We should get a twoism community organization in file sharing going so that we all have access to already organized and up to date files for this wonderful band we all love so much. bocpages is already doing that really well, but it could be more organized, like into a few rars. I'm sure there are lots of people with samples and stuff that I don't have. Let's all make a special effort to get this going in a super organized fashion so stuff is easy to find for us all.
Any mods or net skilled people have any ideas on the best way to do that, if we can?
