A lot of the music in Spore reminds me immensely of BoC. Particularly that which plays in the vehicle creator. Much of it is similar to the kind of sound An Eagle In Your Mind has. Anyone else make this connection?
Saw a blind man walking down the street
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race

Don't worry about the future
Forget about the past
Whether it's good or bad
It's a gas

Was just listening to Skyliner, it really reminds me of parts of the Secret of Mana soundtrack.

I don't know why but I always connect BOC to the Zeal Kingdom in Chrono Trigger. Would imagine their music to play at Zeal raves, lol.

Here's an old MIDI tracker nugget that's sampled on Apparatus from Old Tunes Vol. 2 which might be boc:

The way their tracks loop have always reminded me of the way good 8-16 bit video game music loops. You can tell they put a lot of focus into even the smallest loops, which makes me think of good Zelda or Castlevania music.

Oh man! I haven't played that in a looooooong time. Totally forgot about it. that was by someone from here a long time ago, right? I think I remember the guy posting this here.

After a quick search, it was Retrodreaming that posted it here in 2009. Zackstone was the guy who made these. I'mma play them again, cause I don't remember how to solve the puzzles at this point.

Thanks for bringing this up again!

They did, and you're in it. Can you win the jackpot?
