hello, i really don't have the time to organise something this time round unfortunately :( however if anyone visiting from overseas decides to stay in the uk for another week then visit scotland and we could do an impromptu trip up the pentlands or something (camping or not, either way should be nice), we can arrange something like that!

I'm sure anyone who takes Techboy up on that offer will have a great time. I'd assume the gigantic table 114 camping experience will come around again at some point in the future. :)

Very nice to see Fredd-E is coming. Also nice to hear things are looking good Cupz. I do hope you can make the journey. It's very worth it - I've got to leave at some point during a year to keep my sanity together and last year was probably the best trip I've ever taken.

My trip will be a very short one as well. Just the night/two at most before the meet, a night after we leave and then I'll head back the next day. Something like that (relative obviously to the flights I can get). Wouldn't be able to make it up to Scotland this year anyways due to the cost, but hope to take a family member there for an extended stay next year.

ANYWAYS, this is the part where ahead of time I ask (assuming all goes well and it's what I described) if someone could put me up for the night before and after - and the part where I ask whether or not I can hitch a ride from London to and from the meet. Don't know yet if I'll be traveling alone after arriving. I could pay for these things in the worst case scenario but as I'm on a much tighter budget, it'd be great if anyone is willing. Let me know.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

If I'm gonna go it would look a lot like rodheh's journey. Just the weekend. I'll visit techboy in scotland later in a more focussed manner. :)

Hi everyone! Officially decided I'm gonna join up! Super excited, especially since I'll already be in Berlin visiting the one and only Scyye (he'll be coming along as well!) so tickets to London are a insanely cheap $45, compared to the insane $944 from New York to Berlin I'm working towards now! Rodheh, I'm doing my own research right now and it looks pretty simple, but do you have any insights on getting into the UK as a American? It looks to be show up with a visa and that's it, but maybe I'm missing something. Anyway, lots to plan still but I'm incredibly excited for this. Can't wait to meet you all!

Superb news! Stoked!!

I'll put some links up re visas on the FB page, but seems to me that Rodheh would be your best reference on the matter as he did it last year and is returning again this year :-)

Hope you go, you can be travel buddies with the Veldhuis brothers and the one and only Fredd-E! We should get together sometime soon and plan this shit, with all the costs and stuff. So we actually figure out this thing properly!

Yowser! Much as we'd love as many Twoismers to be able to come along as possible, two grand to get here is too much. Totally understand.

Money is getting tighter and tighter for me at the moment. I will still have to wait till after the 20th of may to be for sure, but for now my plan of coming is on hold. I'd love to be there, but I've got a wedding/honeymoon to curacao/festival coming up, plus I've still got a grand or 2 debt I need to pay off. I'm still gonna try, but I'm not as optimistic about making it as before.

We'll see.

Always remember, (1) we do this every year and (2) amazing though it is, it IS just a bunch of dorks camping wild with a crappy ghettoblaster. BOC don't play live, we don't get sent Hooper Bay on cassette (despite our little joke once upon a time) and if it rains, we all get wet, sort of anyway. Please don't sell kidneys or remortgage properties. Save and come next year if in doubt;-)

Good news guys. I've got tickets.

Ariving July 1st, 6:00 pm, Victoria Bus-station
Leaving July 4th. 10:30 am, Victoria Bus-station

I'll probably be ariving with just a handful of pounds.
Anyone want to feed a fat dutch guy on their couch for a couple of days and lift me to and fro the meet?
