You 'think' is was near Redpoint and you weren't all that into BOC at the time? Hmmm. Because if I knew about a proper Redmoon event, I'd invite someone with little to no BOC interest too. Sorry, calling fake.

Don't let the mods scare you off, it's Mexicola, he has every right and reason to doubt stuff. It's Twoism after all, there's shitposters every month or so. So did you take any pictures? Anything to prove your theory?

Would you mind please elaborating on the title of the thread and what you meant by the NDA expiring soon? I take it you mean "None Disclosure Agreement". Any party where the people are attending are sworn to an NDA would most likely be a party not easily forgotten because it seems a right twat of a thing to do just to attend a gathering.

Perhaps if you were to give a bit more detail about the event and your experience there, it may ring a bell with someone who sees this thread ;-)

Wild stab in the dark, I'm guessing this is an attempt to flush out info from anyone that attended...whatever it was BOC inadvertently 'announced' with those two images back in the day.

My understanding is those images were not meant for us, ie the fans. If (massive if too) an event actually happened and even more incredibly anyone on this website attended, it would be a poor show to break any confidentiality agreement they'd signed up to.

So whether this is bull, or not, posting this isn't clever. Sorry to be 'that guy' but there you go.

Did BoC_Set.zip start downloading and did your dog start barking uncontrollably as soon as you clicked on it?

That's what happened over here. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Whether it was an official warp/boc event or a fan event I am not sure of (try and remember what you were doing 10 years ago), I wasn't a huge fan of boc at the time, although I did enjoy their tunes, I just went along with some friends who were bigger fans than myself.

I never met Mike and Marcus just FYI, and i thought some other people who attended the event would be posters on here. Hope this clears things up a little. :)
I wasn't there, but I do remember seeing pictures from a bunch of fans who went over there and had a fire on the beach that year. I'm pretty sure the pics were on watmm at some point, but I'm not 100% sure as it was around a decade ago. Definitely check the BoC subforum there.

I remember this as well. It was just random people standing around a small fire. I also remember someone claiming to find the burnt remnants of a mix tape, which may or may not have been BOC (and probably wasn't).

I still don't understand the point of that whole debacle. Why would they post that on their website and literally no one figure it out, even with the super-sleuths who were pegging the TH arg stuff within hours years later. And why stay silent on the matter 10 yrs after the fact? I remember pretty much everyone being quite upset at the anti-climatic end to the Red Moon Incident.

I bet they learned a lot from Red Moon, whether intentionally or not, and those lessons were likely utilized in the construction of the TH marketing campaign.

My only contribution to this thread is to point out that if I were going to throw a party and play all of my old material for the people who came to my party, but didn't want all of my old material to be recorded and disseminated on the internet, a unilateral non-disclosure agreement would be a perfectly rational way for reasonable people to attempt to do so.

this has bothered me for some time now. this arrangement in the wood lies within the three coordinates from the red moon code:

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Binni ... 5f24?hl=en

did anyone go to these points? is the observatory that the fans went to there?

The most legit sounding anecdote of the night from "Xerox". Interesting that they only ever had 2 posts. It was around Whitekirk.

personally I never believed that one. also have a hard time believing no one tried binningwood, unless the imagery just wasn't available at the time and the natural feature of these geometric paths through the wood weren't on maps. I thought the people who went had some help from locals, so it just didn't add up. the triangulation motif in the patterns, the beech trees and environs of the wood and potential acoustics of intersecting paths just seem too perfect. the world may never know.

still want to know where the observatory was. and to walk those woods someday, even if too late.
