Does this contain what kids these days call "the drop"? Is this a "dubstep" remix? (im not really sure I know what dubstep is) It sounds bloody awful In my humble opinion.

It's a bit kind of "half way there". Needs a deeply uncool screaming supersaw lead, or a choir or something to push it over the top. Right now it sounds like taking a shitload of coke and doing your shopping, when it could be about running through brick walls. (But then this isn't my kind of music so what the fuck would I know :) )

Mostly underwhelmed by this, but still cool to hear the melody used differently.

It has about as much import for me as putting a song into Audacity and thinking "Wow, this sounds novel when slowed down / sped up"

Dunno, it's quite fucking amusing tbh. I think you need to engage a sense of humour while listening and it's allllright.

I've heard HudMo's (thats what the kids call him) Lantern album, there's a track on it called Scud Books which I quite liked, it kind of reminded me of that. Not to be taken too seriously I think.

Maybe this is what happens in your mind when you listen to the original as a modern day teenager, living on a diet of artificial sweetners, bad food and legal highs.

good god what was hudmo/warp thinking, this sounds like he made a beat for himself and put a midi of amo he found on the internet on top of it. I'm gonna go listen to the Odd Nosdam DC remix, now THAT'S how a BoCmix is done!

By coke he means cola.

Just look for 15 year olds who are a little hyper.

Well, to be fair, if you're not a fan of Hudson Mohawke to begin with, the chances of you enjoying this are pretty low.

I really enjoy what he did with the distortion on the main synth bit - and the big bass line sounds good after a long day of work where I just want to blast bass in my vehicle. I had a minute and a half sample of this, labelled as a TNGHT edit that was a segway on a radio show or something...I was pleasantly surprised by a full version posted to Soundcloud and actually "announced".

No, it's not going to be for everyone, but then again, I'm partial to HudMo as well.

Your Mileage May Vary.
I AM GOD. THE ULTIMATE RESONANCE.

There are a lot of different 'me's, you know. There's the mad me, when I get angry.

Painful. It's like someone wanted to create the absolute antithesis of what that original song is about emotionally. And I guess they succeeded?

Maybe its a prank?
