Wait a minute, Archrival said it's an amazing track, so does that mean it's actually the worst track on the album and he's trying to pull a fast one on us? I'm confused.

was smoking unlimited amounts of pot a few days ago...listening to Slow This Bird down and had almost a outer body experience, it was just insane!!!, I also understood the name "Slow this bird down, it made perfect sense, its like a methapor of somthing beautiful either a amazing bird litteraly or a bird as in a girl...and its in so many aspects like slow this bird = track down, maybe Marcus or Michael said "slow this track down a bit"....its very slow..or it means tell this girl to slow down, shes living waay to rough/hard...or this bird should slow down...aaaah its just beautiful!)

It was, now my favorite is "Peacock Tail". But STBD comes in a close second.

Slow This Bird Down is my favourite song on that album too. The other songs are too 'happy' sounding, hehe. I love the bit where the percussion rattles off into the distance. I'm not too keen on the little tune at the very end though.

the outro to chromakey and the ending (not outro) of sattelite anthem are the two most emotional pieces i believe.....

Chromakey Dreamcoat is Boards of Canada's best track ever. It owns Slow This Bird Down.

Lol. I can't say that any track on Campfire is the BEST. If I was forced (GOD FORBID) to pick ONE Boc track to keep while the rest would be burned...... hmmm.... it's just TOO HARD.

Some contenders though:

1) EYDIAB
2) In a Beautiful Place
3) Pete Standing Alone
4) Roygbiv
5) An Eagle in Your Mind

i'd say my fav on the album is '84 pontiac dream, closely followed by farewell fire and tears from the compound eye, slow this bird down is up there!

worst tracks on the album: peacock tail and dayvan cowboy.

Is this bizarro world? Farewell Fire and Hey Saturday Sun are my least favorites, and Peacock Tail is my favorite. I guess one mans garbage is another mans treasure. (although none of the tracks I would consider garbage, just a figure of speech) :)
