I haven't heard any of his remixes yet.
I swear he has such a huge catalog that I'll be tied up listening to only his music until next boctober.

Thanks alot man, and yes, all of Sun White Sun was recorded live, no overdubs, straight from my amp to the Technics M11, then the tape was bounced to the PC for final mastering.wwbjd wrote:Is all that rumbling and hiss just coming from the Technics?
Must have been some old tape!
And also, yes, I do explicitly use very very worn out cassettes. Bought from thrift stores and the like, left in the sun for days, etc.
Well, I got "Our Blue Rainbow" yesterday and it's very nice and lush indeed. And it came with another free cd called "Coppice Halifax", but I have yet to listen to it. I'll have to let it sink in a little but so far the standouts are "Tiffany Lane", "Glasshill", and "Kieran Moth". I'm REALLY diggin "Glasshill", fucking awesome track. I thought I might have got a bunk cd cause I saw a bunch of tracks that were only 4 seconds long, but then I realized there were some hidden tracks.
Thanks so much for grabbing one dude. Just as a heads up, the Coppice Halifax EP was only pressed to 75 copies as a special "thanks" to anyone who got in on ordering OBR really fast. I'm sure it will be something of a rarity in the future!Derail wrote:Well, I got "Our Blue Rainbow" yesterday and it's very nice and lush indeed.
