I'm really starting to think the post was just to fuck with us. Remember with the TH campaign there was something new everyday until the reveal. Not the case here. I'm not sure how they could top the TH campaign, so maybe they are trying something different, more drawn out, something more difficult to figure out, but its starting to feel like a red herring

Can confirm with the Wayback machine that ddd is new (though the last scan of http://www.boardsofcanada.com was done in April) and similarly in April the BoC twitter description was "outsider"

Once in awhile I find myself in an (almost literally) compulsive state checking Twoism for new information when there's not a watertight reason to believe anything is afoot and I wonder, "Am I ill?"

Let's put this into perspective: it is June 9, a date which is quote endquote "meaningful" because they have a song titled June 9th; they posted an old, fan-made video of a song I've known (and loved) for years onto their social media accounts with no explanation; and a mild, widespread change occurred on their distributor's website that also affected other artists.
...I took logic class in college, and let's just say I'm not acting logically in thinking something is about to happen.

If I followed meaningless blips on anything else the same way that I follow BoC's teeny-tiny events, I would either be an excellent detective and/or an obsessive stalker with my hair falling out in patches.

And then I realize that posting this comment within this thread will probably cause many of you who are afflicted similarly to believe a new development has occurred or there is perhaps more information.

I know some of you dislike watmm and Joyrex, but he did drop a hint a few weeks ago on the BOC subforum that something might be on it's way soon.

Also when I logged into twoism the other day the front page of the forum was light up like a christmas tree with new posts/threads and activity. Then I kind of thought that's rare. It could be happening....

I don't really put much stock into anything Joyrex has to say at this point. Over a year ago he started dropping hints about an Old Tunes reissue and it was purely based on him discovering the ASCAP entries for those songs. Rather than mention the discovery he let people think he had some kind of inside knowledge, it took someone else to find the OT song entries before the cat was out of the bag as to what he was hinting at.
