I know the creator of Dear Esther! I could ask him. I know he's looking for a new indie game project.Nottoolate wrote:I'd buy itOmikron wrote:Tomorrow's Harvest: The Video GameCupz wrote:>> open curtains
You open the curtains and see a mushroom cloud.
Game over.
Score: 10
honestly that would be cool, something Dear Esther-esq with TH as the soundtrack

We had a dream last night. We had the same dream.

IDK if I'd like it to be a walking simulator. Why not an rpg? We'll call it "Fallout"!
But please let's create a new topic for any boc-game ideas and keep this one about OP's backmasked message.

What really grabbed me by my balls, was that I knew the track before, but now, I managed to hear/understand the words that there were. I knew that this voice could be reinforged into something, took me long time to listen to it and hear nothing (I'm not obssessed though), and suddenly *click*.
Lyrics:
00:25 - This is... is
Yeaaaar... Of... Third... War... Now.
00:36 - 00:53 - *no idea, didn't spend any effort to comprehend it*
00:53 - This is... Year... of... third...
1:00 - Now.
1:01 - 1:20 - *no idea, but sounds terryfing*
1:21 - 1:28 - This is year... Of... Third... War... Now.
Try it.
that year has come and gone

Ok, so tidied this one up a bit, albeit quickly and on my phone so any cock up's....tough
I've moved some posts to a new thread in The Playground. Carry on discussing the merits of global apocalypse over there I guess. Thank you for your co-operation.

Sorry to derail the thread some more, but I just finished playing Primordia and I think it's the closest thing there is to a Tomorrow's Harvest video game, complete with the ambient analog synths throughout the whole game. It's essential if you like this variety of atmospheric emptiness.Nottoolate wrote:I'd buy itOmikron wrote:Tomorrow's Harvest: The Video GameCupz wrote:>> open curtains

It's been my dream to wear a VR headset with an epic milkdrop-like VR music visualization to look around in. Something like an epic TH story with awesome psychedelic visuals would be the greatest thing the technology could be used for. Imagine something like that for Geogaddi!! Crazy kaleidoscopic visuals in parts with numbers and different imagery flying around. You Could Feel The Sky could be from the point of view of a guy being hung while on psychedelics, with an angel flying by every time "It's in your head" appears in the song. I'm almost ready to start studying VR tech and programming to get this project started!! Would be incredible! A unique VR experience for our favorite BoC songs or releases. Could you imagine??
Also, I listened to Telepath backwards and at 0:40, it sounds like he says "It's not us."
Would be neat to see what else we suspect to be backmasking in this and if it's harmonious with the rest of the supposed backmasking's concept/story. Even if it's nothing, it's still fun to speculate and dig into a song we love.

I've always loved that one formant sounding synth in Telepath. It's one of the best things on Tomorrow's Harvest.
Re: Telepath in reverse. A message appears.
Sorry, I'm on a Telepath binge tonight and just wanted to bump this thread to say that I would love to play Tomorrow's Harvest: The Game, and the way this track reverses is insane.
