This hasn't been solved, has it? Forgive me if it has.

It's been over three years and I still want to know what the significance of this date/time is from the cosecha-transmisiones site. I find it highly improbable that this date was picked randomly.

I've looked at This Day in History sites, daily horoscope sites and haven't found anything that stood out to me.

As Techboy mentions,:

Genesis 8:22

“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Winter and summer,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”

2:57 could be related to the fact that the album was Warp release # 257 (WARPCD257).

I think as it is in the tomorrow's harvest album art it would also be true of genesis 8:22 too.
I always found the HDEuthanasia virus to be very BoC esque which is why I started toying with that idea at the same time. It was programmed to wipe computer's hard-drives and display only the message ' HDEuthanasia by Demon Emperor Hare Krsna, hare hare' on thursday, 22-aug-1996 which is becoming quite a groovy date for numerous reasons to me now (-:

I don't believe BOC are into the bible but who knows. I remember someone mentioning a computer virus a while ago.

Whether or not they believe in it, they definitely have an interest of some sort in the bible. Many things point to this. What makes you think otherwise?

I like to think that the two of them have a very strong bond to nature and its surrounding manifestations of mathematics. I grew up in a kindergarten/school where I spent 6 years of my life in the woods and their music has always hit that emotional sweet spot for me personally where my mind somehow manages to tell me not to look into the religion rabbit hole for too long and go back to the more earthly places of thinking – that being as simple as climbing on a tree or holding your your hands into the nearest river.
I might be totally wrong about this but I have a feeling I don't. If it's true or not I cannot say :)

The virus was the HDeuthenasia one I quoted above.

Officially known at the 'Hare' virus.

English is not my native language. I tried to word it as well as I could, those sort of emotions are very hard to put into words. Sorry if it disturbed you :/

And yeah I have listened to TH/Geogaddi. I'm on a BOC forum after all. I am aware of the bible references. It still seems to me that they're not entirely sure of the legitimacy of the bible.

your english was fine, its just that your sentiments were kind of self-indulgent and dismissive to other ways of thinking, and you were roping BOC into your own reality rather than letting them exist on their own

just because you dont believe in the legitimacy of the bible as a guide for how to live doesnt mean you cant explore the ideas in it

the funny thing is that people like you (or that think about BOC the way you do, i dont know you) probably have an image of exactly what mike and marcus are like in their minds, picturing them exactly how they look in all the promo photos from the late 90's, assuming they are sitting around a campfire constantly when they are probably just really normal dudes that drink beer and coffee and watch TV and play with their kids

point being, let's focus on their music and the ideas they express in their music rather than them and what they think or what they are like or what they believe in, because they made art because they wanted people to experience it, not them.
