I know there was the MDG message about "a new site coming with updates, etc", and we wondered if the re-direct was it, which we all doubted, and I still do, but why re-direct for so long? Any technical reason still plausible (ie. working on the site, not a server issue)?
in my opinion. they should have just placed a black box in the discography section so that fans could then patiently wait for a new album. oh wait
Ha. I shouldn't even care. I know that something will come when it comes. Months, years, decades, centuries.
Apparently this sites are now offline:
Cosecha-transmisiones.com
Music70.com
Hexagonsun.com
Hellinterface.com
Not even redirecting to Bleep...
What do I make of it? I have two options:
1) the born of a new era of music
2) new site will probably be up "soon"
Oh and of course there's 3) nothing because web domains have limited time and they don't want to pay for it anymore.

Those domains are all still actively registered and resolve correctly via DNS, so whatever's happening is related to the web server hosting the sites.

This takes away the third 'possibility' from the equation...
Should we bother getting excited and disappointed again or?
6 new tweets 'liked' and all sites are down beside Bleep ... seems "significant"

It will really suck if 8/22 comes and goes without any significant update.
No need to get bent out of shape over having a little fun reading the tea leaves, but even aside from the Cosecha date, prior to TH, I remember they only ever tweeted on the 11th or 22nd of the month, once a year. The Sisters remix tweet was on 2/22 as well...

New Boards of Canada 08/22/16 titled "Fart the Latter Snakes".
Rumor is that this will be a concept album about someone slowly losing their sanity on an internet message board over a period of time, it will be entitled All Books Have Faces.

Actually yea, I remember was expecting something on 22/8/13, after someone figure out that there's reversed 822 in the album artwork and that promo single Come to Dust surfaced?

It's because this year will be exactly 20 years after 22-AUG-1996.
