Re: Change on Boards' Website
Call me a downer, but I highly doubt that there will be a new BOC release. And if there is a new release then make a topic that insults me.

I am not too tech literate but it sounds interesting to me.goodgood_notbad wrote:Ok, i figured it out: it's the ASCII code of the character that you're typing.
Curious, someone forgot to mute that log.

It changed about a year ago IIRC. So no, that's not a new album clue if you're looking for one. Sorry.Opothecary wrote:Did the artwork change for the BoC video playlist on Youtube change as well? I thought it used to be TH related. It says the playlist hasn't been updated in a year but the art seems different than how I remember it being.
That artwork is the channel banner btw. It's visible on all the channel tabs, not just the playlist one.

I'd like a nice range of BoC beanies. How damn cool would that be?flowerbeast wrote:ask them if they can tell if they will make new shirts dudeaoc wrote:So we can ask them questions now via the cosecha terminal? Sweet.

Now we just have to wait the 09-09-2016 (2+1+6 = 9) which makes 09-09-09..then hail satan etc etc..

It is the Self, the individual Mind, that contains immortality and ultimate truth.
Now I know where the Self is. It's in our own minds. It's a form of human energy. Our atoms are six billion years old. We've got six billion years of memory in our minds.

Just want to speak for most of the people on this forum (I think) and say the following: I'm twitchy with anticipation that something may happen today, but also profoundly skeptical of anything happening and it's a confusing feeling.
"Fall in love with some activity, and do it! Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and it doesn't matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough." - Richard P. Feynman

After years of waiting, nothing came.

Have any of these predictions ever turned out to be true? All this reminds me of is JENNY DEATH WHEN.

For what it's worth, Joyrex just posted this in the WATMM version of this thread:
"From what I was told, the wait for the next release will be shorter than the one we endured for Tomorrow's Harvest... shorter could be 7 years though"

Re: Change on Boards' Website
I consider myself a pretty vocal detractor of Joyrex at this point, he hasn't really seemed in the loop (at least on the BoC front) since the TCH era.
Whether something happens at 23:59 today, or 9/9, or whatever, there's just too many little things going on, whether its the PRS/Facebook/Twitter activity, the c-t.com website takedown, the Question field feeding to Google Analytics, the new YT images...looking at the past 18 years, they are not the type to ever do anything to curate their online presence unless they have absolutely had to.

I agree with you, Opothecary ... I was just reflecting on how Joyrex posted the "Harvest Ritual" WATMM topic and asked "New song? Potential new EP?" when we all know how that turned out ... so, like I said earlier today, right back to "Expecting something but profoundly skeptical" mode 'til tomorrow's sun rises in the sky, then back to my typical wonderings that come and go.Opothecary wrote:I consider myself a pretty vocal detractor of Joyrex at this point, he hasn't really seemed in the loop (at least on the BoC front) since the TCH era.

The online stuff is just too unlike them.

I'm about as far away as a BOC nerd as you can get, but black page (box) with the green script asking you for a question?
I think you must be a real hardened cynic to think nothing at all is happening in Camp BOC.

Re: Change on Boards' Website
I think I read somewhere a while ago that Joyrex' BoC source is the same as ours, mdg. If he's been 'told' something, then he must have PM'd him and gotten an answer.
And the increased online activity is nice to see. While it doesn't necessarily mean they're close to releasing something, it does mean that they've warmed up to the idea of positively acknowledging all the love they get online now that TH is out of their system. And while I think they are making progress towards a release, I don't think its nearly as imminent as some people around here seem to believe. I'd expect something relatively soon, but not super soon. Say, mid 2017.

Boc Maxima was released in 1996. If anything happens today, it will be to do with Boc Maxima. That being said, nothing is happening.
