Energy Warning Emulator II Sample

I was listening to Energy Warning, and I noticed that the stream sound used in the beginning of the song sounded very similar to an Emulator II patch― so I compared the two, and sure enough, it sounded like the exact same sample: http://puu.sh/oTsaX/552e3e7885.mp3

First is the EII sample, second is the Energy Warning clip. You can sort of see the 'bloops' in both. If this is an EII sample, maybe the EII is/was one of BoC's secret weapons? What do you all make of this? Is it the same sample, or are they just similar?

I may have just come across another discovery: if you listen closely to the beginning of 1969, you can hear what sounds like a filtered stream under the flute samples. Perhaps it's the same one from Energy Warning?

It definitely is the same, great find!!! I'll try and tweak it to replicate it!

Here's an extremely poor effort at trying to recreate boc's version using your sample. Should convince people it's the same though.
