some really dark / gorgeous stuff here with a trace of BOC influence in places (the wobbly/hazy drones, snippets of voices lurking in the background.) "the nomad flute" "in the window" and "exploration" (which is a little heartbreaking tbh) are standouts. comes with an unlisted bonus track if purchased.

Not by me alas. I've had plenty of work linking to the Spotify catalog. But, be my guest.

Also stop hating on Spotify and other streaming services. It's how things are nowadays. And everything is better than illegal downloading.

Have to admit I recently relented and took the free month at Spotify. I feel unclean. Showering in Vim daily.

I thought you where talking about the text editor and didn't get it. Until a couple of hours ago when I cleaned out my kitchen-cupboards. Ouch!

Have to admit I recently relented and took the free month at Spotify. I feel unclean. Showering in Vim daily.

I used to spend $10 a month to get access to newsgroup downloads. The stuff I wanted to listen to started drying up on there so I decided to channel those funds to Spotify instead. I've no love of Spotify but artists never made a penny from my old newsgroup subscription anyway.

Both serve as a shop window for the stuff I want to buy. Currently listening to the new Loscil LP 'Monument Builders' while I wait for the vinyl to arrive from Norman Records.

True Ian. I still feel a bit like Judas though. Albeit it's me giving the twenty pieces of silver. Actually, twenty pieces of silver is probably more than most artists see from Spotify..

Mate of mine posted an album up on it last week, including photo art from yours truly. Did get a flush of ego for a second. Modest 'success' I know but it made my day.

In other news Adam Wiltzie's new solo LP just arrived. It's sublime of course.
