Supposing his statement was true hypothetically, would this still make him a racist?

The fact is probably that facts are distorted on all sides to support a particular narrative as those higher up would much rather incite a racial war than allowing people to continue down the path of blaming those with the power and the control of funds.

And I am sorry if this comes across the wrong way, while it is true that people in the african american community are often hassled and searched by cops an awful lot more, when it comes to shootings the trend only shows one thing. Cops shoot innocent people and there is a huge problem with trigger happy police men shooting unarmed people from all races but not from all communities.

The trend with intense police brutality shows that they are far more likely to shoot those who are of poorer communities.

It is always a conflict between the elite and the common man, they try to turn us against eachother and use selective reporting to create racial and gender tensions when in reality we need only look up to the skyscrapers to find the ones truly to blame.

This isn't to say that The US doesn't still have some truly racial issues at its heart still that really do need to be addressed.
