Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC
Going with this theory, wouldn't the next one be 6th April at 4:57? And then the following date being a sum equal to 48?
It's also interesting that these are common numbers used in audio. Maybe it's hinting at hi-res stuff?

Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC
Nice attempt, you've got the next 2 numbers in the sequence right, but its not time to multiply. You don't multiply to reach 24, and you only multiply when all the numbers are divisible by 4. The latter can only happen 3 times a year.Peacock Tail wrote:Going with this theory, wouldn't the next one be 6th April at 4:57? And then the following date being a sum equal to 48?

Not sure what they are playing at when they end the multiplication related steps with :57 other than the fact that like the calendar, numerically you can only have 3 of them happen total (when you look at it as 4 hour increments), aside from messing with AM/PM. Also, wasn't the Cosecha console timestamp set to 02:57 or something?

you don't think it's a strategy to take the pressure off slightly?
as in not rely on zero to ten if they did in fact come back

I am not quite sure what you mean, but then again, this thread is tying my head in knots.john fonda wrote:as in not rely on zero to ten if they did in fact come back
Could you elaborate for me?

Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC
I understand what you mean. This puzzle has different logical endpoints that could range anywhere between June and August, I think some of that is inherently related to working specific announcement dates -> release dates into it too. If things come together in a way that they like, they could announce in mid April for early June. If it's more of a slog, they could announce in early July for early August. You just know it will be the August option though!john fonda wrote:you don't think it's a strategy to take the pressure off slightly?

I feel like when they developed the whole thing, they assumed they were giving themselves a year and change to whip something into shape. It gives them something solid to work toward and something vague yet logical for people that are paying attention.

Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC
After discussing it with Fredd-E I will be putting something up on bocpages in the very near future to track progress and theories along these lines.
In the meantime, while we wait for another mellow weekend to come, here's something completely unrelated to what's being discussed recently but still kind of cool:
Left Side Drive
Macquarie Ridge
Nothing is Real
Open the Light
Peacock Tail
Seems meaningless but its a cool easter egg.

So best case scenario would be either 21st or 27th March followed by 12th April?
Or worst case scenario would be 4th December with any given date prior to that?

Also (and maybe this is far-fetched)

But if you apply Valotonin's magic wishful thinking filter to these calculations it actually comes out as: 04/04/17Peacock Tail wrote: 8/7/18

Close, but I just consider there to be 2 pairs that go together, each separated by 8. (2005 -> 2013, 2006 -> 1998)Peacock Tail wrote:Also (and maybe this is far-fetched)

What do you think the third pair could be?
We've only subtracted once so far in the sequence and it was the only odd numbered month. What else happened within the same month that we had to subtract? It's not part of the main sequence, but it's still important to think about.

Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC
Remember, based on what we've seen so far, it should be different 2 years separated by 8. and that's the real trick. You could post something from Twoism in 1995, but where's 2003? Likewise for Hi Scores in 1996 (2004) IABPOITC in 2000 (2008) and Geogaddi in 2002 (2010)Peacock Tail wrote:EYDIAB (1996) and Nothing is Real (2013) maybe?Opothecary wrote:

Unless they throw a real curveball and use Hooper Bay or something, the only pair that still works is 2001 and 2009. I nominate Julie and Candy (Live at ATP) or Echus for 2001 and Seven Forty Seven (from Warp20 Unheard) for 2009.
It would be really cool if they dug deep and gave us something different soundboard-wise from ATP if that's the route they end up going.
No, they've already told us when they're going to start posting things again.arvy wrote:i can't feel it anymore, they cut the wires

I know it should be 8 but maybe 17 (1+7) could be a date 8/8/17?
