Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC
Here's why I see some April Fool's potential. There's an interesting section of their video playlist (entries 78-84) that I used to think of as sort of a roadmap to their plans. Look at these numbers as the sum of their tweets/likes - we have been stuck at 79 forever (Over the Horizon Radar):

Over-the-horizon radar, or OTH (sometimes called beyond the horizon, or BTH), is a type of radar system with the ability to detect targets at very long ranges, typically hundreds to thousands of kilometres, beyond the radar horizon, which is the distance limit for ordinary radar.
They briefly dipped down to 78 (Hey Saturday Sun) before adding the Dayvan Cowboy tweet. April Fool's is Saturday this year. 80 (Korona) is sun related too. 81 (Twoism Sunset) makes me think Sundown. 84 of course was the sum of today's datestamp (28x3) as well. The fact that Twoism repeats in subsequent slots makes me think of the pairs of videos they were posting last year, so I have a feeling something like that is on deck again soon.
They could be pointing at any Saturday, but it is funny that they went out of their way to delete one really old tweet, left it like that for awhile and then added something else later in the same day.

Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC
if you go by the playlist numbers, the last 4 are 15.6.1.7 - 15th June 2017?

I doubt they would go to this effort unless there was something close to being finished

Actually July 8th is a Saturday too (7/8) so maybe that's something worth noting.
Anyways, however you cut it, things still seem to be at least a few months away as expected.

While I'm at it, I guess I owe an explanation for my riddle a couple weeks ago. I was trying to nudge people toward 3/23 for reasons that don't matter much now, but at least I landed within the same week for my guess.

Re: GENERAL NEW RELEASE SPECULATION TOPIC
Time to dig deep on the new info...
To recap, two things happened today - first a tweet from March 11th, 2012 was deleted, and replaced within hours by Dayvan Cowboy. This is kind of cool, because this is the first official video in the sequence (everything previous was a fanmade video)
What's interesting about the March 11th tweet being deleted between last night and this morning is that Left Side Drive was posted at 3:11am MT (same time zone as Banff, Alberta, pictured in the video) on October 14th.

Their like of the same post was exactly 4 months and 20 minutes earlier on June 14th before they later posted it themselves.
None of that matters now, except maybe the day of the month (the 14th) - just like 24 kept popping up everywhere last year, now I think those posts were a hint that we might be dealing with iterations of 14/28/84, etc. In the runup to today's tweet, I KNEW they were going to flip and we'd have 84 instead of 48 (the expected number, based on last year's activity), but I wasn't sure whether it would happen on 3/28 or 4/21 (in the case of the latter happening, I felt we'd get some sort of reversed track on 3/23 as a precursor).
Maybe now we multiply in odd months and add or subtract in even months, the opposite of last year. I like these dates based on that, I'm sure these will get thrown in the trash after their next curveball:
3/28 = 84
6/3 = 3
7/8 = 56
8/20 = 28 (announcement)
10/6 (release date, take the 6 and the 10 from Left Side Drive, or Sixtyten if you like)

I said nothing about 15th June 2017, that was realspiel. I like that date but its not far enough away - props for working the playlist into the thought process though.thepastinsidepressant wrote:does anyone know what opothecary is on about or is it just me thinking it's too far fetched? he says '15th June 2017?' then ends on 10/6

October 6th is cool too, because it's exactly 16 months after they kicked things off (again, 10+6) - I'd like to be wrong and have realspiel be right, because June is a lot better than October.

I could MAYBE see that as an announcement date.realspiel wrote:if you go by the playlist numbers, the last 4 are 15.6.1.7 - 15th June 2017?
Announcement: 15/6 - Release 28/7 or 4/8
-or-
Announcement 20/8 - Release 6/10
^ are both acceptable resolutions to the puzzle in my book, they both account for the typical 6-7 week announcement -> release window that Warp usually works with.
I like mine because its forever away (and therefore more realistic) and after the fact you'd look at those numbers and say "duh, it all makes sense now" - I really think that all the red herrings in this puzzle are born out of optimism and if you skip ahead past the answers that you want, you get the "well, of course it's that" type answers.

I have definitely thought about this as a social media version of the black box. Feeling good about that 16 month window - 6/6/16 - 10/6/17.john fonda wrote:tomorrow's harvest was released two years after the black box appeared on their site

Has no one welcomed you yet?
Welcome to Twoism. Drinks are in the minibar to your left. Keep away from the shady bit beyond the smoking area, mind. I think Valotonin was spotted there the other day in a state of drug-induced psychosis talking obsessively about sample sources.

I can't decide whether to be optimistic or pessimistic about this whole situation. Am I doing it right?

It's hard to stay silent here when others have similar hunches as yourself. Though I understand 6/15 is simply wishful thinking on my part. Patterns emerge when you want them to, I suppose.
