Skam just put their whole catalog up on Bandcamp.
Korona, Trapped, Midas Touch, and Chinook are up for FLAC download. One Euro a piece.
Also up is a digital version of MHTRTC without Happy Cycling, if that's what you prefer.

This is awesome. Also a FLAC of the original Aquarius single.
preparation for a dive.
Re: Skam just put their whole catalog up on Bandcamp.
Yeah man I would have missed this. My copies of all of these are junky. Thanks.

Oh, groovy. Its Trapped remix #2
Only version I've had of that was the French Radio Rip.

This is an interesting turn of events. These sound like vinyl. What even are these?

Trying to find out if this is legit. Sent the page a message attempting to clear a few things up as some of the formerly vinyl-only tracks sound vinyl-sourced (pop n hiss audible) while others sound DAT-sourced which seems a bit odd, though understandable if the records were the only remaining source for some of these obscure releases.
Re: Skam just put their whole catalog up on Bandcamp.
I think a lot of the early masters where stored by BoC in DAT format but I can't say anything regarding the vinyl. Perhaps something of such rarity that masters are no longer present?Goiter Sanchez wrote:Trying to find out if this is legit. Well that sucks. Hopefully the actual Skam puts at least some of the tracks up for sale.Reginald Frothy wrote:Uh oh, it's a fake Bandcamp account!
Hearing the HQ versions of tracks I'd only ever heard in terrible Youtube quality got me all
Mexi, if the real Skam Shady ever puts the tracks up on Bandcamp, mind editing the OP so that the links direct to those pages?

Is this the new trend now? Post-post-vaporwave is worse then I thought.
Throw away your smartphone.

Re: Skam just put their whole catalog up on Bandcamp.
holy shit what, that's fucked. seems like a lot of work for a one day skam..

They where most likely hoping it would go under the radar for a bit longer allowing them to make some more minor sales.chronical wrote:holy shit what, that's fucked. seems like a lot of work for a one day skam..
As stated by Mexi, It does kind of sound like Eyesix's cup of tea doesn't it ?
Re: Skam just put their whole catalog up on Bandcamp.
I can't believe even he'd be that brazen. Then again, SOMEBODY did it and he does have previous. Thing is Skam aren't a big label so this kinda thing leaves an especially bad taste. Hope they catch the toerags.

I thought there was something funny about chinook having vinyl skips. The thing i'd like to know, where did the person got all the music. Ya know?
Re: Skam just put their whole catalog up on Bandcamp.
I doubt someone who actually owns all those records would be foolish enough to try to sell their own transfers.Xaugh wrote:I thought there was something funny about chinook having vinyl skips. The thing i'd like to know, where did the person got all the music. Ya know?
Soulseek comes to mind...
