My New Year's res was to replay every Final Fantasy game. Currently on 9. Going a bit slower than I originally expected.

It's been an amazing experience so far. These games put me into some kind of zen state, it's hard to explain. Can't believe it's been like 10 years since the last proper Persona!

It's so good! I think I have something like 10-15 hours in and I still haven't reached the 2nd dungeon.

Just finished The Witness. This game is easily the most satisfying game I have ever played.
It's really hard to describe the kinds of feelings this game evoked while playing it. Confusion, then understanding, then more confusion, then frustration, then excitement. That feeling you get when you finally solve a puzzle that has stumped you for the last hour, or that you couldn't solve three days ago, or whatever, it's exhilarating.
I love puzzle games. This is one of my daily favorite http://casinoglobal.info/bonuses/no-dep ... -post-226/ It perfectly expresses the atmosphere of the popular puzzle. It helps me keep my brain working and makes me energetic. I recently googled relevant psychology, neuroscience, aging, and education websites to get a sense of the kind of research being conducted on the relation between puzzles, and general brain functioning.

I haven't been a gamer in many years, and was never really hardcore, but awhile ago I stumbled on a recently made walkthrough of System Shock 2 on youtube that made me want to get into games again. System Shock 2 blew my mind (along with Half-Life) back in the day. It was cool to revisit and to see that it still holds up pretty well 18 years later!

Same here. I bought a used PS2 a few years ago and played Half-Life again. Still one of the best experiences ever the second time through.

If you liked Thrust, you owe it to yourself to try Data Wing, a modern take on old school first gen video games.

Data wing is kind of like the way those games were shown in films or adverts for the game back in the day, and when you loaded up the home computer version it was a massive let down. Only this is like if someone made the real thing! Love it

Been heavily into Battlefield 4 on the PS4 again recently. Still immense even after all this time. Even BF1 can't match it.

Been playing the remastered Shadow of the Colossus.. It's so gorgeous. Quite a bit of nostalgia and memories of playing it whenever it first came out..
