How did you find BOC and where?

I was probably browsing some articles regarding a Polish hauntological series Kraina Grzybów when Boards of Canada came up as another example of hauntological aesthetic. I didn't like all of it at first, but it grew on me and about four months later I bought all the releases.

I can't remember all the specifics, but in late 2013 I started getting into vinyl and visiting record shops here in Toronto. I saw "Tomorrow's Harvest" on the shelves enough times in stores like Sonic Boom and Kops Records that I looked them up on YouTube, which prompted me to then download "The Campfire Headphase" through P2P. I liked that album enough that I downloaded TH, and then I bought TH on vinyl in 2014 and played it quite a few times at the electronics store where I worked.

The rest is history! And I just picked up the vinyl reissue of Twoism a couple of weeks ago, so my collection of the major LPs and EPs is finally complete.

My old college roommate. He also introduced me to Animal Collective and Broken Social Scene, which remain two of my favorite bands to this day. I miss that dude.
