Ah! I wondered how well that would travel.

The Sun is a right wing piece of shit tabloid 'newspaper' owned by International Cockwomble Rupert Murdoch. It specialises in jingoistic and usually entirely made up stories designed to instill fear amongst the British people. It also still has pictures of models with their boobs out on page 3 every day. As horrible and poisonous a rag as you could ever wish to wipe your arse on, it's usually found lurking on the dashboard of morons across the nation.

Finally got a chance to read the accompanying interviews, was a nice insight to the creative process and the future goals for the label.

Giving the album a second spin today and eagerly looking forward to the physical release!

I listened to most of the album yesterday. Especially love "Infinite Mirror" and "Figures in the Snow." [emoji846]

I've noticed a Cold Earth / An Eagle in Your Mind melody in "Figures in the Snow" [emoji848] Not pointing fingers here just has a pretty similar vibe

Great job with the album. Very coherent and nostalgic. I like

And the good thing about it not getting that many plays on Spotify is that nearly all the songs in shuffle play are actually on the album

It has been a while since I listened to anything like this. It is quite good!

I really like Oregon Water. I suppose you could say it hits close to home (psst, I live in Oregon).

Seriously though it is epic and that synth bass is sinister!

Sure! You could start with this interview with The Weathermonger.

Most of the copy for Twoism Records is written by me, press releases, etc.

There's also a review of the last OneOnTwoism compilation from a while back, just scroll down towards the bottom of the linked post.

very nice. the one thing you missed in your review of the comp was my silent track. i tried to avoid falling into the trappings of such music (as exemplified by tracks like magic window and john cage's 4'33''), so instead of announcing my silent track, i was silent about it. in that way, instead of making people aware of the little sounds all around them, or pushing the album length to some numerologically significant duration and making people aware that . . . uh . . . album duration can be expressed as a number, i circumvented awareness all together. but now that your snub has forced me to divulge this information, that effect is ruined. of course, if your review had explicitly mentioned my track, that would have also ruined the effect. what you should have done was sow the seed of doubt in a subtle way by saying something like, "there is almost certainly no unlisted track on this album. almost certainly. . . ." and then add some shifty eyes for good measure.

Awesome release! I've done 3 full listens from my phone while doing stuff, so I don't know all the song names yet. Seriously good music, though.

Reservoir Dreams' bass is making me want to start some sort of ambient vogue dance movement & Slipstream Fiction's main synth melody is making me slither around as well. This is a beautiful record start to finish.

If you like Reservoir Dreams, grab yourself a copy on cassette. ADecentMan of The Sweet Boys remixed it into a total monster! Only a handful of cassettes left...
