So yeah never heard of this one before

Needless to say a HQ rip would be highly appreciated since itunes does not seem to have it.

I just used a Youtube to MP3 converter to get it. Doesn't seem to result in any significant quality loss.

an extremely under-rated remix. this to me is a perfect template for a specific kind of BOC sound from that era. I love the way the mood shifts midway through and becomes more dark and chilly before phasing into that sublime arpeggiated ending. Despite not being as "well-produced" as the more recent remixes, I think this one achieves so much more with so much less.

I bought this digitally when it briefly available in the mid 2000s on (I think?) the Skam website as a 256 kbs mp3, around the same time you could get the digital "chinook" and "aquarius (version 1.)" All those tracks were pulled shortly afterwards, and probably an intern got fired for naively thinking you could just put BOC tracks online for sale like a regular band.

Thanks. Just curious- where did the CD rip come from? Up until recently with the BOC Remii Vol. 1 CD I didn't think there was any digital version of it available other than vinyl rips...

I don't know. I downloaded both tracks from what.cd, but i can't remember anything about it. And now with the site gone, there's no way to check.

Neither of the files in that Mega link are the digital version that the Skam store was selling. They are both sourced from vinyl. The digital version I bought doesn't have any vinyl pops / surface noise.

breadmaker if you mean the skam bandcamp that was a total rip off, someone uploaded a bunch of vinyl rips as "digitals" and got caught a few days in.

no, I do not mean that. I'm talking about the official Skam store from the mid-2000s, before bandcamp existed.
