I'm actually quite annoyed. Why would warp want to associate themselves with a bootleg recording? Unless they release a decent version on the bleep store, but I'm not holding my breath. Quite annoyed by Warp for allowing that to go ahead.
Hoping Sunday saves it, but I'm honestly expecting it just to be tracks we already know with a sprinkling of something new/unreleased
Would be neat if it was a different bootleg recording we weren't aware of but it will probably just be the one we've all already heard. It seems like most of the original programming is sticking to channel 1 while channel 2 is airing old and already available performances and mixes. Which gives me hope that BOC's 2 hour window on channel 1 will have some interesting stuff in it
As previously stated by others in this thread, NTS 2 seems to be occupied with back-catalogues of artists and is mostly playing mixes and tracks that are already publicly available. The NTS 2 side of things might not even be fully under Warp's control this weekend as it could just be an arrangement of Warp related mixes separate to the main event on NTS 1.
I wouldn't allow this to disappoint us or allow pessimism to set in for the main event.
Again, I doubt this is BoC's "big reveal" - this is a sign of life and possibly an indication of new work close on the Horizon.
If it is, contrary to what the anonymous reddit "insider" says, a new release, I will be incredibly surprised and elated at the same time.
If I am wrong and NTS 2 does indeed fall under Warp's proper jurisdiction for the weekend, yes, that is a bit of a mess and the decision to leave it without the description of being the bootleg version for quite a while really doesn't help. That said, I am glad they did it a day beforehand rather than us all discovering tomorrow that we are listening to the version we likely all already have saved somewhere.
Is it not possible that this is the only available recording of said performance and honestly people... don’t beat yourselves up... I myself disagree with all of this negativity and it isn’t the end of the world at all.... maybe BoC are good for not paying attention to us complaining unsatisfied fans... half the time we come off as whining and I don’t blame them for not giving into that sort of energy at all... I love bootleg recordings... they are fun and honestly people stop complaining about it... the recording IS NOT BAD QUALITY... compared to the other recordings it is almost soundboard if not soundboard... I remember reading a long time ago that it was in fact a soundboard recording that we have all heard... and if it isn’t then damn is it a god audience recording... so don’t get your Truffles in a Tussle... we have something brand new to look forward to on Sunday and a little fun live flashback... personally I think it’s cool they recognize a bootleg recording... it’s like they are sharing in an environment that usually only die hard fans occupy.... imho Thank you Warp! So far this is awesome and I am really enjoying camping and listening/recording all of this awesome material! Cheer up folks...

You should try following Prince. The poor guy is dead and stuff is finally being released from his 'vault', yet the fans STILL moan, bitch and whine. Honestly, they are seriously the most entitled fans I've ever come across. We should thank our lucky stars the BoC community is as chilled as it is most of the time!
There might not even BE a soundboard version of the Warp 10 show tbh. You’d think if there was, they’d play it here. My band has played live many times and we’ve only ever made one soundboard recording.
