I just listened to that Doxa Sinistra song again and it sounds like Boards sampled something from it but I just can't put my finger on which song it is. The chord structure that begins at about 50 seconds reminds me of something. Listen to the song on YouTube.

I wouldn't expect them to be lurking much.
This was a big night for them, though, a lot of experimentation and I can imagine they were anxious as to how the fans would react. They wanted to retain the element of surprise, and the result was beautiful.

Some minor tension as to the way Warp promoted it. It is a difficult balancing act between preserving the anticipation of the unknown and unintentionally leading people down a path that would cause them to feel somewhat manipulated. For the most part, that was done really well and I am sorry to those that were expecting a new release to the point in which it was somewhat disillusioning when the mix was underway. BoC are clearly sorry to a certain extent as well and going out of their way to unlike a certain tweet, the one mentioned earlier, was an act of humility. Thank you.

We got a weird remix of Illusion with samples of Aquarius V3 and radio interludes. and a ton of really good songs by artist they liked. we connected with fans in chats and it was VERY fun
