I didn't see any mention of it so far, but the voice in the unknown track at 1:22:25 (https://youtu.be/LXV1dsx5yfs?t=4945) appears to say "On the Hillstar/Hill Star, it's a bright new day...", seemingly a reference to a proper noun. The "On" is throwing me off a bit--I would expect "At" or even "In" before "On," so maybe that could be a clue to what Hill Star is.

It could also be Hillsfar, I'm pretty sure that was a location in Dungeons & Dragons or something of the sort

Hillsfar is a famous location on Faerun, the game world of the Forgotten Realms setting of the Dungeons Dragons game. I'm legitimately surprised anyone here knew that. Fair play to you, sir.

Don't know if this was found, or if it is important as it is an actual part of Doxa Sinistra track, but dialogue about Leo The Lizard and some other bits throughout it are from an episode of The A-Team. At 36:24 is the lizard.

Not sure if it's been pointed out but Light in Darkness by YMO has a countdown sequence and other talking, starting around the 30 second mark, that isn't present in the original.

There was a similar occurrence with regard to the Horrific Child track. A video contained a portion of the next track on the album, much like the cut on Societas X.

I would chuckle if the entirety of Societas came from their bandcamp and youtube bookmarks.

I have found yet another connection. (Easter egg) See if you recognise this. I am 100% certain that they listened to this in 1997 and started work on Aquarius (or what became of it) The version played in the mix has the exact same chord progression of this lovely track.

Once again... I found this same song on a vhs tape I pulled out of the skip. Of all the billions and billions of things I could Have found. I find this. Along with all the other strange discoveries I have found and the way they reach me. I truely feel very strange mentally about how these things and coincidences seem to find their way to me. Look back on my posts If you don't have a clue as to what I am talking about.

Aquarius, as we knew it up until Societas X, was composed around elements from the song on the Hair soundtrack.

Whatever version it was that they played us on Societas X contained elements from the Grace Jones' Slave To The Rhythm (among other things), but not Shirley Bassey's cover.

Thanks Kure! Peel Session is also getting a repressing on Vinyl this November (If the Amazon shipping date is anything to go by). You can also get it in a WARP-30 box set collection from the bleep store. I just pre-ordered my copy

Very nice. Does this mean that they will be releasing a source recording of the "Bad Day" Happy Cycling as well? In such a case, that would mean that the Peel Sessions album would actually be complete in its original form. I understand that they might not favor the Peel Session recording of Happy Cycling, but all people have access to at the moment is a lower quality radio rip of it. I won't say how I know, but I've been told the source audio actually makes it far less of a "bad" recording and brings out the qualities to put it on par (or even better depending on your cup of tea) with the MHTRTC version.

Oh, shouldn't we be discussing this in general new release? I know this is the primary active thread at the moment, but it was for Societas X.

I haven't really been updated due to limited internet access at the moment. This is part of a Warp anniversary box set and it is still debatable as to whether it will be released onto an upcoming reissue of the Peel Sessions album, right?

Essentially, the full BoC Peel sesh (including the XYZ master) is being pressed to vinyl. The vinyl is part of a 10XLP Warp box (inc. Aphex Peel sesh, Bibio WXAXRXP set, etc.) but will also be available separately.

XYZ is available to stream on Spotify, YouTube, etc right now!

guys, listen to him or help the user sl fkl. the boy is discovering thanks to the causalities, interesting things about the origins of everything. Seriously, with him I feel the synchronization is latent. Pay attention to it. from number 28 of this forum, which is finding things, he is the voice of causality. To be fair, Happy Cycling (Bad Day) isn't anything to write home about. It isn't a very good version of a very good song.
