deepest boards songs

Post by doubleEntendre »

now 'deepest' doesn't necessarily mean 'best,' but what songs are the ones that really tap into your subconscious and stir your most innermost emotions around?

for me it's:

indeed. . . perfect for sunny winter days.

i'm sure everyone can deduce two basic 'themes' of the boards: childhood and nature. i always find the nature element to be more significant to me. anyone else feel tihs way? i feel everyone's leaning towards the childhood element more.

Songs that tap in and make me really happy:
-Dawn Chorus - Simply put, the orgasm of Geogaddi for me. Over the Horizon Radar helps
-Triangles & Rhombuses - Catchy and a breath of air between Telephasic Workshop and Sixtyten.

Songs that tap in and get to me in a that comfortable eerie way:
-Sixtyen - That melody/synth(?) portion just wants to go somewhere. It doesn't and just seems helpless.
-Oirectine

The ones that define Boards sound for me:
-Sixtyniner
-Whitewater
-Hi Scores

I like the nature touch myself, probably more than the childhood element. Stuff like the crackling fire on Beware the Friendly Stranger...love it.

That's actually the sound of what happens when the children befriend the friendly stranger.

So a bit of both.
