Chromakey Dreamcoat. Or possibly Kid for Today.

Ease them into it, THEN show them the weird stuff.

“Jacquard Causeway!”
So far have already turned about a dozen people onto BoC with this track alone! At least five have become obsessed listeners haha
The track that I was introduced was “Chromakey Dreamcoat” followed by “Dayvan Cowboy”... will never forget that experience ha

I was hooked by Turqoise Hexagon Sun, so I'd probably go with that one.

As much as I would love to show someone tracks like Telephasic Workshop or Skyliner, I would begin with Oirectine. Why?, Because it's not over complicated but also conveys the overall nostalgic aura mixed with the simple hip hop beat. You gotta ease the new listener in.

I'd say Aquarius or Dayvan Cowboy. Though, the fan made Everything You Do Is A Balloon video might be the perfect showcase of the overall aesthetic.

If they are sober, Turquoise Hexagon Sun. If they are on psychedelics, 1969 or Dawn Chorus.

"Turquoise Hexagon Sun" or "Dayvan Cowboy", as an "easy" entry point

If they like darker and broodier (I don't know if this is an actual word lmao) music, either "Julie & Candy" or "Dawn Chorus".

"Turquoise Hexagon Sun" is my definite go-to though.

I'm not sure what the best introduction to BoC is, but i think i know the worst. First track i ever heard of them was nlogax. I liked it soo much, but there are almost no tracks from them that sound like that. Real bummer

It really depends on the person. In general though I’d say stuff off CHP or MHTRTC are probably the most “accessible”. Roygbiv, Aquarius, Dayvan Cowboy, Peacock Tail, maybe Satellite Anthem?

Depends on the person, recently used Julie and Candy, they went on to listen to both MHTRTC and Geogaddi and enjoyed them a lot!

Some people here have said that they'll take the first ever track that they've heard. Considering mine was Ready Lets Go (as I was first exposed to the band by listening to Geogaddi in its entirety), I guess I would choose another one. :D

I think that I would insist on the fact that for this band, so-called "vignettes" are as important as the "regular" tracks, so I would pick at least two. Bocuma and Roygbiv maybe? :)

But I think that it can really depends on the person, as Remulo said. I would surely recommend Aquarius (Version 2) to someone into hip hop for example.

I think it would be very funny to give someone no information on BoC and introduce them using 'Nlogax'

hehehehehe
