I've never been interested in these because non-BOC kaleidoscopes are $1 elsewhere. However, does anyone know how much these kaleidoscopes normally go for? Are they usually this inflated?

Edit: someone on the BOC FB group said they got one of these for 30 euros about half a decade ago.

Anything BoC that isn't just an in-stock vinyl/CD/shirt is inflated to hell. I mean, I have never seen another band's promotional poster be sold second-hand for more than, like, $15 on average, besides well-known super rarities. Meanwhile in BoCland...lol.

just seen this, i eBay daily so this new... all i will say is this: handwriting looks real but i believe it was printed from the hq scan of the same tape that’s on RareBoC. if you compare the hand writing, and look at the discrepancies (most notably the second “A” in “canada” and the lip at the end/bottom of the “E” on “tunes”. also, the three guys jumping next to the barcode look blotchy, from what i’ve seen this could also be evidence for it being fake as on the “legit” copies we’ve seen they aren’t blotchy. last but not least, the paper looks extremely clean for being 20+ years old. i originally thought this may be legit until i seen the handwriting, and the similarities between the HQ scan. the only way to explain that would be if DoorsOfPerception himself logged on and said this was his copy he was selling. the TDK CDing-II Cassete is a legit cassette they used but can be bought off ebay as thats what i have in my “replica”. he does have 30-day returns on though... so i could purchase it and then return it if it is fake upon further inspection. if this is a fake he did quite a good job with it.

This is probably fake. It looks like the exact same scan as the one on rareboc. If you look closely at the barcode you can see this (the white line in the "i" of the music70 logo. The cover is also supposed to be darker I believe.
But still, probably worth buying. If the seller had a 30 day return policy, go for it Roswell.

Also, it appears to be printed on photo paper. All pictures of legit copies that have surfaced are printed on seemingly normal paper.

I actually wrote and asked the seller if it's real or not. He said that he bought it from Ebay some years ago. Hmmm.
I asked him if the last tracks on side B is of lower bitrate than the others, I'll see what he responds. This is probably 99% fake though.

I've got a Geogaddi Kaleidoscope which I'm thinking of selling to fund some synth purchases. VG condition. I'm the first owner since release 2002. I'm in Cardiff, UK - but will ship anywhere.

Conscious I'm a brand new poster here, not sure how it works. So two things... firstly I'd like to just take offers on the Kaleidoscope and see if any are tempting enough. I do treasure it, but when I saw they were selling for nearly £400 I realise I maybe don't treasure it quite that much. Hope that's okay.

Secondly, I use the same username across forums internet wide - so in terms of 'background check', you'll find I have 100% positive feedback on eBay, Reverb, MuffWiggler, Elektronauts, and Modulargrid for various musical instrument and other sales going back years.
