And I know others differ on whether that suspicion is warranted at all, which is also fine. Nothing is corrected. It's that I played a couple inoffensively wrong notes that weren't corrected. One is the Bb in the Red Moss at the beginning should have been an F (which led me to over count the number of occurrences of 'the motif' at 3 instead of 2). Then in Peacock Tail, the C lingering over the change from C major to G major should have been a B. This mistake adds a little bit of dissonance but not too noticeable.

Has it sunk in yet that almost 8 years ago, either Mike or Marcus parodied your video note-for-note, and other than your "hey, this is weird" initial thoughts, it basically went unnoticed until now? That's crazy. I'd be smiling all the time!

Well, let's not forget the proverbial "warp intern who was tossed the keys to social media". We ought to have given that character a name by now he/she's been invoked so many times. But regardless of whatever's really going on -- yeah, it was certainly a jolt when I saw that Whitney pic reemerge the other day, and has been fun to have that novel connection to the discussion.

On another note, on Reddit there’s a guy who posted ‘Feeling Bad Can Feel Good’ with the account name 7Spirit_of_1Ecstacy under the Whitney Houston thread. His name reminded me that the same name was used in one of the Prohibited Broadcasting videos. His account was made that same day, April 6th. Five hours ago he posted “April/7/2001/24.55[Keep a Smiling Face]” April/7/2001 was when the 2001 Mars Odyssey was launched. It’s named after Arthur C. Clark’s novel. As a member on Reddit pointed out, that somewhat connects the Toynbee clap back. Probably nothing, but strange and something to keep an eye on, and if anything that account is probably Prohibited Broadcasting.

Curious as to where the teeth come from that are collaged on top of Whitney’s. Anyone have a weird memory of the smile? I just ran through twin peaks characters I could think of.

I mean who knows, only the brothers themselves know. Maybe they collaged little bits inside the teeth without changing the contour too much
I assumed the Whitney Houston image was created with a filter on some sort of app. I say this because the Hell Interface deepfake from the same time looked generated in a similar way. There’s one app that it looks like specifically, it gained popularity recently but I do not know the name of it. I don’t think any of the new images were very high effort.
