I had a bizarre dream last night that involved BOC finally performing live at a big stadium and the first song they played was a BOC version of Daft Punk's "Give Life Back To Music." They also looked exactly like the dudes you see on the BOC Maxima album cover with the blue and orange beanies and they were dancing with a variety of back up session musicians.

They were listening to Wu Tang Clan and one of 'em was doing these crazy kung fu moves to the beat of the music while a small crowd (including the other brother) watched and cheered lmao, no idea where the hell my brain came up with that one

Oh yeah. There were quite a few odd YouTube videos popping up around that time mirroring the TH arg’s aesthetics, some of which were quite good in their own right. There was one based around 70’s nature broadcasting that, despite the played-out theme, had exceptionally well-produced music and visuals. Wilderness Reserve or something like that? Another that sticks out was a floating orb against a black background. Simple enough to be deeply mysterious, unlike the forgettable fakes that tried too hard.

Their base of operations was this abandoned shack, only about the size of an apartment room, in the middle of the California desert. I had this busted up old car that, even though it looked like it was from the 60s, had a CD player in it. I put the CD in, drove off, and woke up....

but now i think it's an absolute joke, and a mockery of BoC

personally i view Prohibited Broadcasting as more offensive than the Hell Interface Whitney Houston image

whoever made Prohibited Broadcasting clearly is reasonably talented. they perhaps could make actual original art maybe, if they stopped doing annoyingly desperate derivative stuff.

i find it extremely boring and even slightly disrespectful to basically art and originality in general.

whoever made this stuff is certainly not being very creative.

it sometimes makes me wonder how well i could imitate them myself, but luckily i feel disgusting even considering it

Yeah, they don't explicitly say they are trying to BE BoC, but they certainly know what they're doing. It just seems like a bunch of ARG nonsense, nothing conclusive or cohesive. Not BoC's style. Just boring.

I think they are slowly unraveling something, they're giving us all the answers before they're giving us the questions, like locations to web pages and other things, interesting to see what their next move will be, but it definitely feels like they're doing it to grab fans attention.

Also seems weird to me that they fluctuate between what social media platforms they use, seems like one month they're full on liking stuff on Twitter, next month they are on Instagram, and only recently they're now on Facebook. But each time they use a platform they abandon the one they where just using.

The person on Discord mentioned to me that it's likely they're just updating their banners for an inevitable album release, like when in 2010 they updated their banners with a atomic bomb, then 3 years later they released TH, which feels like the aftermath of that atomic bomb.

Maybe the Pioneer Probe is going to be a similar thing, maybe 2 more years from now we will finally see what it was about, but I think I'm now certain about one thing...

I do not believe there is currently ANY kind of arg happening, at the moment we need to sit tight, wait to see what BoC do next, and it may take a while before they do anything else. If there is any specific thing we need to do, the instructions will be made nice and clear, just like how the TH arg was made nice and clear.

Yeah Warp generally do one or two big releases a year and an archival collection. The nice Seefeel collection seems to be the archival work, but keep in mind that we got a Squarepusher, Autechre and a Oneohtrix Point Never release last year. I'm sure Warp's got more up their sleeve. Very confident about that.

If I'm to do a prediction, maybe a brand new BOC/Hell Interface this year and maybe some archival releases next year.
