Oh yeah, I completely forgot - "Dead Man" by Jim Jarmusch. Really cool take on the western. Weird, yet amazing. The instumental score by Neil Young is excellent as well....

I watched a really interesting film called "Stay" last night staring Ewan Mcgregor, Ryan Gosseling, and Naomi Watts. Check out the description and trailer, I highly recommend this.

"In this reality-bending thriller, a distraught young man announces to his psychiatrist that he plans to commit suicide in three days. The psychiatrist’s desperate attempt to help his new patient leads him through the city on an incredible, nightmarish journey."

some of you may know this one, but its called masculin feminin...its is a french film about love and relationships...its from the 60s i just watched it the other nite and wow its one of my new favorite films

I attended a Madlib concert recently (although I'm not really into hip-hop due to my problems with many of the lyrics) and as a background visual they were showing scenes from the movie Planète sauvage, although I didn't really know it at the time what it was. But it was so creepy and haunting... and seemed oddly familiar. I ended up paying more attention to the visuals of this movie than to Madlib himself. Then I remembered that my local indie music store used to stock the soundtrack of this film and that I had the image permanently burnt into my mind from browsing through so many times. That's how I remembered the name.

So anyway, I Googled it and it's a bit expensive to obtain, but is available free to watch in 7 parts on youtube.com under keyword "fantastic planet"-- the American title.

Basically about creepy blue giants that keep humans as pets on their planet. Completely animated and looks similar to Monty Python animations or parts of Yellow Submarine movie.

I saw this movie available to rent at my local video store and it looked so so good, but my girlfriend and I never had the courage to pick it up. We had watched another movie (Alphaville)by the same director that sucked so bad and we didn't want to be disappointed again. I'll have to reconsider our previous decision now...

I just saw The Life Aquatic, Blow, and Almost Famous for the first time this weekend. Life Aquatic was quite nice. Had a bizarre feel to it. Blow was also quite good. I love drug movies... and combining that with Depp is a win win, baby!

I'm usually out of the loop as far as movies go. I never really get the chance to see the good ones for quite some time after they've been out.

i saw babel because casino royale was sold out
i didnt like it. i found it to be too long and the story was all over the place.

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

This movie made me lightheaded...in an extremely good way.I didn't watch it before becouse my sister say'd it was crappy and that jim cary shouln'dt be in serious films.After seeing this (and le truman show) I strongly disagree, both the statement of jim cary not in serious films and that the film was crappy.

One of my new favourites!
