Yea that was/is an ongoing theory. I'm lurking in the Discord server that is working on 'solving' it. I also read that a bunch of people who got the postcards placed orders with iam8bit, and they've collaborated with Epic in the past.
It is a fascinating ARG. Whoever's doing it, I give them props. On the other hand if they have written this rumoured space themed album and somebody at epic or another games company has managed to get ears on it behind the scenes and then got permission for use from warp ahead of a scheduled release etc. then we could be in for one hell of a ride!

Apparently the new season starts around June 7th. He always watches the special new season live 'events' when they happen.
While I doubt Fortnite would be used to launch a new album, or that there would be a major tie-in, I can easily imagine a teaser of new BOC music being used during the new season 'event'.
It's nice to feel the buzz of anticipation again about this sort of stuff, even if we are disappointed again! Any way, aren't we due an EP rather than an album?
I think the weirdest thing is all the connections lately to extraterrestrial matters. There was the Pioneer's Plaque, the space references in Societas X Tape, Societas X Tape possibly being an anagram for "A site to Spacex," BOC's twitter liking a post about the sounds of space sounding like BOC and BOC's Instagram gave an affirmative emoji to the concept of Toynbee tiles (which involves the concepts of resurrecting the dead, colonizing Jupiter, the movie 2001 and mankind striving to succeed for things that are barely in reach.)debugDolores wrote:If the new album really is space-themed, then now is the perfect time for a release. Add in the monolithes from last year and this "They're Coming" ARG with references to New Mexico and outer space sounds over the phone and if BOC was truly doing a space related album, this would definitely be the perfect time.
