I feel the same way - there is such a dense amount of textures and sounds in TH which is part of what I love about Geogaddi so much. Cold Earth sounds like it could fit somewhere on Geogaddi, and the end of Sick Times oozes a similar sinister psychedelicism to it as well. Don't get me wrong, they're too unique beasts in their own way, but to me those two records really shine in those aspects.

Jacquard causeway is a beast of its own, probably the track on TH which completely derails me, the little analog synth patches at the start combined with this off kilter drum patten gives me more creeps than anything on geogaddi!

Yeah that track took me a few listens to like it, the drums are pretty off-putting but as everything wells up and there's all the tape saturated sounds it's pretty neat

Tomorrow's Harvest is like the corporeal Yang to Geogaddi's ethereal Yin.

I was gonna say, I don't understand the point but now I do get what you mean I think. Geogaddi exists in this sort of psychedelic, unsure, question-asking place that is vulnerable and scary because it's exposed, whereas TH is very nihilistic, and the answers are very realist and basically admonitions of the eventual end of everything.

Good post. Hard to compare this two records, cause Geogaddi was released almost 20 years ago. But I can say definetly about TH. It really feels part of some kind of philosophy, shared knowledge, nihilism ? First thing that stood me when I saw the announcment right after cosecha site was hacked, is this is really something recognizable, but ultimately forgotten. Life, death, journey of the soul, ghosts... I think this is something we share collectively and BOC used it to make music, or at least present it how they wanted.

I saw this yesterday, it’s BoC themed DJ set (the disc jockeys reactions are priceless)
I think this guy is Spanish not Italian but I’ve never seen a live set made entirely of boards tracks intercontinental wise before!

Off the top of my head he spins rue the whirl, dawn chorus, dayvan cowboy, nlogax & nothing is real.

Entertaining stuff!
