Props on this, this sounds really nice. What did you use for the drums and processing them if you don't mind explaining?

Quite a few different sample sources/techniques. The drums on track 2 were taken from a jungle breakbeat pack, funnily enough. I ran it through a light phaser, converted it to mono and then added some really light ring-mod on it too. There's also a reversed slowed drum break in there, I didn't do any more treatment to that. The drums on track 3 are really simple sequencing with samples taken from breakbeats. Besides that, it's just having a good ear with EQ. I can't really explain it much further, it's hard to explain this kind of stuff anywaysNTFMTS wrote:Props on this, this sounds really nice. I'm glad you took the time to listen and everything, it means a lot. This is probably my favorite batch of songs I've ever done.

Ah I see, thank you for the info about your process, very interesting stuff. I've never thought of taking a stereo chain w phaser and putting it into mono. I'll have to try that!
But yea again, great songs and melodies here.

Yeah, great to know a bit about the process.
That second song it’s the kind of thing I’ve always wanted to do but never could. Those drums are sick, and the synth melody halfway really sweet. I think we all need more of that vibe from you.

Nice.
It's very Boards of Canada-esque
(nice job and excellent production).

Friends, you owe it to yourself and your family to leave the congested city, and enjoy what nature intended you to enjoy.
