I simply interpreted that as a continuation of releasing 'cutting-edge' music. Pretty sure they end most years with a similar statement.

Fingers crossed for next year, I was certain in my mind that something would surface this year assuming that lockdowns in 2020 might have given BOC a bit of time to go through their archives.

I'd quite like some retouched Geogaddi outtakes to surface around its anniversary and maybe a trickle of archive material throughout the year, if a new album comes first then a BOC set would surely come a while afterwards but would likely look a lot more substantial than a few outtakes

I'm still surprised BOC didn't drop something in 2020, but I guess it's like Black Mirror where they haven't put anything out because life is essentially completely imitating their art.

I hope whatever they've been making or how they've been spending their time outside of their music has been bringing them joy.
